@dfkuz That's a great question, and I am glad you asked! I personally believe that "believing" is the whole crux of salvation. You must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and is the One who saves, and if you do, you will be saved. If someone used to believe but no longer believes that Jesus is the Son of God and through Him is salvation, then I would say that means they aren't saved. BECAUSE believing is the whole point of salvation. Throughout scripture we see many times when people believed and were saved. Acts 16:31 - And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” BTW, I think "and your household" means they also need to believe for this to apply (you and your household must believe). @@ASeatForJesus If you don't believe the Holy Spirit seals you for all eternity the first time you believe (and nothing can break that seal, Ephesians 4:30 KJV), then you haven't been saved the first time yet.
