@@MELNITSATV your comment is stupid, I'm saying you should have polished the case. The discoloration is just oxidized bakelite that would have polished off. And before you say I'm a sofa critic and don't do anything I collect these damn things. By the way when painting don't spray little spots all over it, but do one continois stroke across. I'm just being honest and I'm sure you can learn from mistakes.

And when the choice is to make beautiful or preserve bakelite, I choose the second. You first study the topic, and then say what is terrible and what is not.
