Bravo it takes someone special to pull off electric in an acoustic trio, the beautiful composition certainly helps and a fabulous performance by all. Amazing piano solo and killer groove
One of my favorite Drummers, Cliff Almond. First heard him interview my Electric Bass G.O.A.T Anthony Jackson, little did I know then, that he is Drummer. I then landed on the concert with him, AJ and a big band performing with Michel Camilo. Good heavens!! 🔥 I used to chat with Janek on MySpace years ago 🤓 Virtuosos 👌🏿 Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
Loved it, I pre-ordered the album quite a while ago, and I've really enjoyed watching the tracks take shape and loved the journey from conception to where it it is now. It's a lot more interesting watching the journey (and reading the substack posts) - you do a great job of including your fans, excellent work guys.
Can't wait to hear the whole LP because there's everything here: groove, harmony, tension, narration, great bass (sounds amazing in the mix, man, I'd even increase the volume a little bit but I'm biased), tasty solos. Since you shared some demos I thought that this new material will match my preferences. That's also a bold move to release a single with solo on the drums! This will be pure fire during live performances.
I love this tune, but the mix is kinda missing for me. Too heavy on meds in keyboard, snare is a bit dead (you can really hear the processing right as he clicks his sticks together and then the mix gets really compressed), and then I really want more of the bass. Great stuff, though.
You're comparing the audio of a camera to that of a studio though... Not really a solid comparison. One thing is for cinematic effect, the other is for an album. I don't know what RUclips does for a mix either, but they definitely do something, and it's not great. I would highly recommend listening to the album on any of the streaming platforms that it was mixed and mastered for.
@@janekgwizdala Thanks - you're right. The snare sound and Bass is better on Spotify. I haven't really noticed this anywhere else, but theres definitely a difference.
We are few but good..let’s push up the algorithm, comment and like every comments..
What a different register. Thanks again.
Such beautiful composition and playing. I'm soooooo looking forward to the release of the album!
Beautiful tune! I can hear why you love contrasting the major and minor feel. Would love to hear this trio in Australia one day.
Nice tune, and the sound is absolutely fantastic...
Loving the groove of this tune! Can't wait for more!
One of best things you have put out.
Love the sound! Looking forward to the entire album!
One of the best compositions I've heard from you
Beautiful track. You guys sound fantastic. 👌👏👏

Yeahs, a great song!! And: What a nice flow, the sound is amazing. 🎉
Dope. It sounds like you. The musical phrasing sounds like your speaking voice. Can't wait for the whole record.
Sounds fantastic. Looking forward to the album and doc.

Killin! Video length had me hoping there would still be a bass solo after the piano one, but the little behind the scenes clip is fun
Janek! Bardzo ładnie żeś to nam wszystkim zagrał razem z kolegami!
You gotta make it back to Phoenix, Janek... saw you with Steve's trio at the MIM in April but need to see you solo! Soooo glad I pre-ordered - LFG! 😎
That snare sound man... holy Mother of God, so neat! Great mixing job!
Loved Cliff’s solo!
Beautiful❤️
Sounds great man
Loving it!
It's Just so good to hear some new music from you, always a discovery in terms of sound, composition, and overall musicianship! great work as always!
❤
The head is so powerful on this one!
Sooo coool!!!
👏👏👏
nice…
Amnesty International says keeping drummers in cages is inhuman…although in this case probably warranted.
❤🔥🔥🔥
You look very much enjoying yourself and that’s contagious AF. Also: flatwounds?
Those are round wounds. DR high beams.
@@janekgwizdala I was wondering... I too did manage to make Dr Hi Beams sound very tame and warm on a record I did 2 years ago. Amazingly versatile.
That fat sound!
My speakers having to work and differentiate subtleties again :-)
