Hello! Very helpful video :) However I have a question. Can You recommend some specific fans for this laptop? I don't want to buy the same model and I have to replace one fan (on the left) because it sounds like silent tractor (*trrrrr*).
This should help ruclips.net/video/3zs_SJ3BXgA/видео.html
If you can't fix the fan you'll have to search the fan on eBay/Amazon the model number should be on the sticker on the fan. You can't use a different fan or it won't fit.
@@ItsBinhRepaired thanks for the answer. However, I noticed there are other screw holes around this fan, maybe it could be compatible. Thanks anyway!
@@aborygen8 those are most likely to hold the case cover on
Can you make a battery replacement video?
This video shows how to get to the battery and disconnect it. There are only a few screws around it holding the battery in place. I don't have the laptop to show it, but should be simple once you get the laptop opened up.

I was working on mine and it force shut down and I now can’t start it up again. The keyboard lights up and I can hear the SSHD but the fans don’t spin the screen stays black and it switches itself off again. Pls help. I’m probably going to open it up tomorrow to see if there is any visible damage. I have already tested the power supply and it’s working fine and the battery seems to hold charge. I’m worried it might be the graphics processor or something serious that is damaged any advice would be helpful thanks in advance!
If you're lucky it might just be the ram
This is exactly what i have to deal with right now. Any tips?
Hey dude my laptop stopped charging about a week ago I already bought a new charger and adapter and I think it has got to do something inside do you have any idea what could cause that?
The charge port/dc jack
how much would this laptop cost in 2020 i have found one and it's 650$ i5 and gtx 1050 and 8go of ram with hdd 1tb is it good
You'll have to look around and compare prices. I don't really know the market values. I just fix them.

Can the graphic card be upgraded on this model. Maybe to a GTX 1070 or 1080?
Nope, it's soldered on. You'll basically have to replace the entire motherboard/logicboard.
What is the company of hard disk .
I want to change it to ssd
What do you mean?
no power or charging lights after taking back off to clean dust out. Anyone else have similar issue? Took apart as per video and worked fine before. seems odd.

@@ItsBinhRepaired took the fans out, gave them a few blasts of can air and wiped them then reinstalled. wasnt a lot of dust elsewhere. Pins seem straight on the hdd connector, did not remove anything else. Think I should I try to disconnect both batteries and wait a bit and retry?
Hey, i have the same laptop and it started overheating, like around 90 degrees celcuis on idle, i check with the gaming center my gpu is pretty empty so i tought maybe it is a fan problem or thermal paste problem, do you know by any chance? and is the thermal paste shown somewhere in this video ? i will probally take it to a shop or technican because im too afraid to do anything like that myself but i tought i should check anyway, by the way, is the rog strix series hard to dissamble compared to other laptops ? not sure if i should go to repir shop for clean and thrmal paste or computer technican .
Please watch the video. Doesn't look too difficult to remove the heatsink, but I didn't do it in the video.
If it hasn't shut itself off from the heat, the paste should be ok. You might have to just clean out the dust.
ok good to hear. and i will thank you.

Hi i have a question can i upgrade the ram on this laptop?
Yes, please watch the video. I mention the ram. You'll have to open it to see what RAM it's currently using.
@@ItsBinhRepaired sorry i mean like the ram speed from 2400mhz to 3200mhz is that possible?
Not really sure. Some computers will work with it, others won't. Only way to know for sure is by googling or trying it. You could always return the ram if it doesn't work.

The power cable makes your laptop turn off?

@@tannerdumont7589 sounds like a motherboard issue :( could possibly be the charger or the charge port. You'll need a volt meter to test if power is coming out of the charger.

Did you reattach the hard drive cable?
Hello i unscrewed the case and i dont remember where eaxctly each screw went cuz they are different dimensions
Best way to figure out where each might go is to use a needle and then use your fingernail as a marker to measure the length of the screw hole, then just match up the length of the holes with the lengths of the screws.
i had the same issue, the long screws go at the top where exhaust vents are, the 2 shortest screws bottom corners, rest is easy
