POV: you bought a random storybook from a newly opened bookstore from down ur town, the cover of the book immediately caught ur eye as it was simple but yet so elegant it's called the last masquerade strange u thought n alittle cliche- but ehh" it looked aesthetic.~ Later that night in ur bed room while humming a song (love story) as u read the book u slowly n suddenly began to feel drowsy as u drifted off to sleep n before u knew it u awoke in an unknown place it was dark so u tired squinting ur as a light suddenly shined bright as looked ahead suddenly the once dark room turned into a magnificent hall that reminded u of one those grand halls in the palace of Versailles it's arhticture n decore was on point n suddenly as ur eyes flickered open once again the grand was now full of people with masquerade mask n and grand fancy dresses that itself could tell about each of their statues whether higher rank or lower as they all basket with one another dancing as u stood there watching in awe n then realized that u too where dressed up like the rest. As the people began to crowd the large hall u then slowly tired to wiggle ur way out of there and get some fresh air even though I had absolutely no idea where to go. As u pushed through u found a small corridor guiding u to the other side but before u could've step through u accidentally pump into something no- someone u I thought as u feel to the growb groaning before looking to see a tall very tall n large look gentleman as looked down at u his lips in a line as I thought to urself. *Is gonna be one of those nasty high n mighty rich men that think their above everyone? * U thought before it was suddenly shattered as he spoke in rather calm voice apologizing as he lended his out to u he wore a beautiful bluish green suit embroidered with gold n white jewel over them his mask was gold on the sides had dark blue shine to as the other remainder parts where black with whites stones, his hair long n white with slightly blue highlights on the sides n his eyes not to mention they purple beautiful violet purple that had a slight reddish tone near his pupil his skin fair as snow* Gazing at the gentleman with ur mouth gape in awe u sat there still stunned his hand still reaching out to help u up as ur yet to comply* "Ahem Mademoiselle are u perhaps alright? Are u okay,hurt,dehydrated -? " He spoke his head tilted to the side before u suddenly realized n responded to him shyly n slightly blushing sheepishly placing ur cold hands onto his warm gloved ones that were leather n soft as u looked up towards him he was no doubt towering above u. "Ahh-ha my apologies Monsieur I yes- and thank you" *U said stuttering nervously as he pulled up against him he then looked towards u n then the ball of crowded people* "Mademoiselle are you feeling alone in this lively ball"? Neuvillette in particular, was a judge known for his mysterious and cold aura that radiates from him and never appears on occasions, but I guess he had to for the sake of a specific someone.. Y/N, was a girl who was invited to the ball like others. As others swayed with the music, couples dancing here and there as they were in their own world as well as the Judge talking to someone in a secluded corner, someone pushed the gold and metal gates wearing a white silky dress, revealing a beautifully dressed up female known as Y/N, her hair oh so elegantly tied into a beautiful bun with a red rose on the side along with such slinky make up that gets all the men look at her with interest and adoration.. Her dress having a slit up to her knee as she wore such sparkly heels to glitter within her appearance along with white gloves that went up until her elbow, surely that's already enough to get everyone's attention especially the Judge.. She wore a dashing smile as she walked into the ballroom confidently, everyone made way for her as they stare in awe, some even staring at her with jealousy and disgust but she didn't careless! Soon, everyone was back into their own worlds, dancing with their significant others here and there while others do their own business, Y/N then grabbed a glass of champagne from a passing by waiter and sat in a corner, her eyes analyzing the crowd as she took a sip of her champagne, her eyes fell on the Judge who was staring back at her, a slight smile was seen on his face as he nodded in greeting from another corner, they both had eye contact as she returned the greeting with a small smile and a nod as well before flicking her eyes elsewhere. Soon enough.. Neuvillette approached her with a slight smile, she looked at him with a raised eyebrow and a smile as she spoke, "And what brings you here Judge?" She said teasingly as she looked at him with a mischievous glint, he didn't answer right away and instead extended his hand towards her, his other hand behind his back as his position became into a slight bow along with that rare smile of his and spoke: "Care for a dance?" He said with a small smile, awaiting the female's response as she only smiled back and gently put her hand on his, and just like that.. He led the both of them to the dance, he positioned himself as he put his hand on her waist and the other holding her hand up, she looked at him with a smile despite having a tint of pink on her cheeks from the contact, they started to dance with music as they swayed back and forth, side to side and many more, their eyes only on the both of them as they continued to dance like never before.. The people around them stared at the dancing "couple" as they continued to sway. And after a while, the people around them disappeared as thy looked into each other's eyes, both mesmerized and a burning mess as they continued to hold each other.. Her hand on his neck while the other held his hand, his hand on her waist while the other continues to hold her hand as well, such a romantic scene ey..?? The music soon came to a stop as they followed and eventually stopped as well, their eyes still trained onto each other as Neuvillette stared into Y/N's eyes and so did she, he leaned closer and did the unexpectable.. He kissed Y/N ever so gently on the lips, his lips that taste of sweet vanilla and a hint of chocolate was surprisingly tasty.. He soon pulled away and leaned into her ear, his soft lips brushing against the tip of her ear as he spoke: "Why don't we take this elsewhere hm?" He said with a slight smirk, leaving Y/N speechless and flustered, she only nodded silently and he grinned as he led the both of them out of the ballroom and into the hallways, he turned to her and said: "Get ready for tonight.." he said with that smirk of his as they then enter into his bedroom.. Even though I've known about him briefly he's already become one of my favorite characters in Genshin, he's a powerful and strong authority figure but he's also awkward and down to earth which makes me relate to him more.
