Try press square and up arrow together to set speed I'm not sure if that works but on the vectron you can confirm the set speed on the AFB using square and up arrow
I think you start the train there because in real life trains start at holding stations a lot idk about uk but in America and Germany they do and the service really starts when they arrive at the first staying of the manifest
Has DTG solved the passenger problem on the 72Stock (Bakerloo line) with this update? Passengers were not boarding the train on that line... I wish they would have fixed that with this update because it really annoys me when I see passengers crowding the platform and the train coming and going empty without any passengers. Only in 72Stock do passengers not board the train, while on class 710 everything is fine.
The VCB is triggered by trackside magnets before and after the neutral sections, so that protects against arcing from the end of the live bit of wire to the pantograph, but it will still be a sudden cut out of power to the traction motors as @MorganTheTimeLord said
Me too. Bout 1 mile from Euston in a pendo. Even reloaded it just before crash and ot still does it. Got out of memory hard crash. I don't know what they have done to this route, but it's unplayable now. So, a big, well done DTG.
I’m struggling to find how to set the cameras to stationary and fixed view such as stations etc to see the loco blast through, on pc with Xbox controller
I take it you are on console in his vid, can you explain to me how you get the screen completely free of info, plus are there settings for the camera that it doesn’t follow the train all the time? And, do you use a keyboard for some of your controls? Few questions I know, but it would really interest me how you have your setup configured for console. Enjoyed the update vid. Greetings from me in Germany 🇩🇪
You're correct I do have a USB Keyboard plugged in which I highly recommend, I press F1 to remove the HUD (info screens) - alternatively hold the controller pause button. The free cam is accessed by pressing 8, and I then use the arrow keys and shift to fly around. Also a lot of the other HUD elements can be turned off in the settings etc Objective Marker, Stop Marker
The fact you don’t like the service because it’s not realistic proves my point the route is rubbish the only good thing is the lioness line on it the 390 only sometimes stops at Milton Keynes then only Watford junction so 2 stops driving the route is too short should’ve at least gone to new street or rugby and the lnwr or the random 350s on the route with no station branding and trains is a let down
It's more real to live with the timetable updates. Especially with the overground and underground

35:00 that will be them censoring out LNWR since they never got the licensing resolved

The best updated route ever in tsw5

Passengers is a core problem
Fair enough, I don't think so
According to the route original blurb. That service you are driving was AI only.
Neutral sections shouldn't matter on modern trains I think, that's what the VCB was invented for, right?
I know in the 700's they Coast through Neutral Sections, think its still good practice to set power to off
Don't modern emus manage neutral sections themselves automatically ?
They do but you should coast through them to not cause a power jolt
@@MorganTheTimeLord okay. Thanks.

Ever since I updated I can’t complete this route! Game crashes on approach to Euston 😩

Hi Joe what does the set speed button do…I’ve seen that many times I don’t know much about that button ???
Cruise Control basically, an AFB of the UK

You have to use a keyboard and use the 8 cam :)
And one last comment. Does the 87 layer on here ? It was in a screenshot.
They removed a bunch of services and layers before the update because they promised more than they could deliver without issues
@anonymousperson1726 okay thanks
Have u played on keyboard yet on xbox for the braking key on the 150 hst 47 etc ?
Not yet, although I'd assume its ; & '
Morning good stream as usual I hope you do not mind me asking what headphones do you use.
JBL is the brand, unsure of the name :)
What does (Sleeper static) in the Roadmap mean
Perhaps sleeper coaches which don't move anywhere
Just wondering if thses packs are free and automatically install
WCML Update is free but gameplay packs are paid for (£4.99 each or £11.99 for all 3).
@TheBritishAce thanks joe
When filming this video did you have motion blurr turned on and do you recommend me to turn mine on? 🙂
Should be on, no preference really :) In real life there would be a bit of a blur at speed

@@TheBritishAce thx👍
the sim crashes when loading up wcml... i believe it has something to do with the lastest patch
What platform is that on? If its Xbox One/PS4, unfortunately that's probably what to expect
@TheBritishAce on pc, prior to the update I had the downloaded the wcml 2024 timetable and other mods needed for the route to function

Huge new update that broke the route even more. It’s absolutely insane how badly optimised this route is.
It's unplayable now isn't it 😅
