       Hi Lynette, thanks for the comment and I’m really happy my videos have helped :) I’ve just done some quick envelope maths, it looks like the damage numbers are going to stay exactly the same, which is fine with me.
      Over 24 “standard autos” (where I’m counting the 3 little autos as 1 auto, confusing sorry) she gets:
      24 little autos
      16 big autos
      6 little obow procs 0.67* obow damage
      24 little qinns procs 0.67* qinns damage
      4 big obow procs
      16 big qinns procs
      This all equates to the exact same 33% extra efficiency she had before, so the builds and damage won’t change at all.
      This is definitely a buff as now spike shot will be much better! Which will be really cool!
      There’s also some very strange tech where you can purposefully miss autos to up your obow damage, but trying to utilise this probably isn’t worth it😂
      But also in the worst case scenario, if you miss ALL of your big obow procs you’ll be losing 33% obow damage, in the best case scenario, you gain 33% so I assume… this should average out in game, but if there’s some weird phenomenon where players hit certain autos at certain points in her chain, this could have a larger impact than intended, for better or for worse

    Have you seen 11.5 Patch notes? If I understand them correctly, the Item proc passives changes for Charybdis are gonna make her lose the quins extra damage she had. Not sure how obow´s dmg will work with the changes if the lighting chain is procced with normal autos or the triple fire... but I believe these are gonna make her build the standard hunter build... Not fan of the changes
    At least we get some dmg back from items during her 1...

    • @SmiteMaths
      @SmiteMaths 5 месяцев назад +3

      Hello! Thank you! Yeah I've just watched them, I'm gutted that they're nerfing her qinns damage, the fact that you can build her differently was a massive draw to the character for me. And yeah they weren't clear at all how this would affect her obow damage, I'm really hoping it stays maxed and becomes SUPER effective on her cus that just sounds fun! Me too, if it effects her build path, I'm not a fan. Will probably have to wait until PTS to test everything. Thanks for the comment!!

    • @ivix5599
      @ivix5599 5 месяцев назад

      @@SmiteMaths I have just tested and I must have misunderstood the patch notes. The value stated in the patch notes is reduced item damage (in PTS is 30% not 33%) so it is actually more dmg!!
      In a 5 autos chain (2 normal autos plus triple fire) the first 2 normal autos do normal qins dmg and each triple fire shot does 70%. In total, 410% qins dmg in the chain, rather than the 400% (80% * 5 shots) before this patch.
      Also, when trading with enemy hunter in lane if you only hit 1 or 2 normal autos, these will have 100% quins dmg. So it is a straight dmg buff!!!
      About obow, normal autos will proc normal obow dmg and triple shot autos proc 70% obow dmg. This is harder to estimate if it's a dmg buff or nerf, because it would depend when in your auto chain is procced. However, you are still proccing it way more often than standard hunters so, pretty sure yellow number build is still the way to go.

    • @SmiteMaths
      @SmiteMaths 5 месяцев назад +1

      Ahhh yeah I’ve just tried it, the patch notes makes it sound like it’s reduced *to* 33% not *by* 33% which is great, so qinns definitely still does more, obow probably does still do more, but now it might be beneficial to purposefully miss little autos so you proc odessyus bow on the big auto which is a very odd mechanic!! Definitely going to have to get my head around this and figure out the math behind it so I can put it into my code. Thanks for the insights, I’m super excited to see her damage now!!

      @@SmiteMaths Are you guys sure thats how it works? I haven't tested in in PTS but the patch notes paint a totally different picture. There is an additional note there: "Note: Charybdis previously had this restriction on all of her Basic Attacks, but it is now only limited to her triple fire in her Basic Attack chain, NOT her first two autos or Spike Shot"
      This implies that the reduction was already in place before and that her first 2 autos now actually do more damage than before which would be a straight up buff.
      edit: I just tested it on pts and live. Both the odin bot and my god were lvl 1. I bought only qin's. On the current patch qin's procs were 7 dmg. On the new patch they were 9 for the first two, and 6 for the three tiny attacks. So the reduction was already in place before for all auto attacks, but it was only 20%. Now its 33% only for the small autos. (Because I tested it on low hp targets the numbers could be off from the 33% stated in patch notes). Guess I misunderstood what you meant exactly and thought it was 33% reduction for all attacks previously. I knew item procs on charybdis were already applied at a reduced rate but I didn't check the exact amount.

      Hello! No I do not force starters into the builds, I modelled each starter at half stacks apart from diamond arrow which is modelled at one stack. It just turns out an item that gives 70 power, 25% AS and 10% pen is insanely strong😂 and these stats scale really well with obow which is why these builds favour diamond arrow, but if you want a full analysis of all the starter items I have a video on that :)
