This is a fantastic video. Congratulations on your success! Two questions: 1 - How did you *cut* the bottle? After watching your video, I got one and the plastic is much thicker than I thought. I can't get through it with a utility knife. Did you use a handsaw? Or electric saw? 2 - I would be interested in seeing and knowing more about how the mother plant (the large bird's nest fern) is potted. I didn't get too much of a view, but I could quickly catch at 0:48 that she is in a large bowl and the bowl is raised on a small wooden platform. Was there any potting mix used? What is the purpose of the wooden platform: better drainage? Thanks again for a really nice video.
Hello,I used a knife to cut the bottle,,I think my type of bottle is soft but for the hard ones please place the knife on fire so that it gives you a starting point.then after you can cut through.
Yes there is a special potting mix you plant them in,let me know where you leave them I can try and tell you what you can mix depending on what is available in your country thanks
The wooden platform was basically to raise the pot up so that it’s not sitting on the ground since it’s in a wide and short pot I didn’t want it’s leaves to touch the ground hence the importance of the wooden platform
This is a very helpful video. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!

Well done Lillian
