I have now seen 8 episodes of this new season 8. Far different writing. Much harder core. I miss the more funny and comic interactions between inmate. Myles for example was funny. Now she is a hard core criminal guard. This young"terrorist" girl is a messed up and violent, stupid character. I actually hope Joan takes over the prison. At least it would be funny. Still this is a great show and I have been addicted since the very minute of season 1. I see a lot of killing on the horizon. Pamela Rabe is so impressive. (Joan Ferguson) I think she is among the very top character actors of all time. I say she is a skilled as Bette Davis and other great ones. Good channel. liked and subscribed.

Best episode since season 4 in my opinion. It actually felt like the old Wentworth again. Such a shame Lou’s introduction came with only 2 seasons left 😞. Maybe we wouldn’t have had to witness the hot mess that was s5-7 had Lou taken Bea’s place as the show’s main bad ass character earlier on. Also Ruby and Rita need to go ASAP - Lou, Reb and Ann have brought more to this show in 5 episodes than those two have in 2 seasons 😡
Of course Bea will always be my favourite but I think Lou (even in 5 episodes) has proved to be a strong enough character to build the show around, just like Bea. She can never replace Bea, but Lou has made the show feel whole again for the first time since Bea’s death
