Tursas is a great disc. Not a beginner, but still bag it. It's been in and out of my bag for 3 years but back in this whole year basically. A couple rounds ago had one of my best shots of the year with it in the woods. Basically pinched off on right side woods 200ft from the basket, could only throw forehand out(LHFH) but had to get back right thru a long tunnel. Threw the Tursas flat and had the perfect turning shape thru the tunnel to land under the basket, like I couldn't see the basket from my lie, but I threw it and knew I was parked. Tursas goes so far too!
DUDE!! The OZONE is 🔥!! I've been playing 5mo or so and the ozone has been so key for me. Toss on a little hyzer and it just goes for days. I couldn't recommend that disc enough for beginners like me. Also grab the inner core from Trash Panda as well. I like that putter for approach shots and longer putts.
Love that the OZONE got some love. My daughter used to throw an Innova IT off the tee but the Ozone is now her go to. I feel like both are drivers that beginners can grow with.
Mint Disc Lobster/Thought Space Mana/Jester Peace Train/Remix Creature. All are apparently the same mold (as far as I have been told) and all are great beginner 5 speeds at about 5/5/-3/1. I prefer the hand feel of those the bigger dome on the Tursas and other understable 5s and the Creature can be had in premium plastic pretty cheap.
Just one year of playing experience in my case, but what got my distances up was first Westside Seer and then step up to Westside Stag, both in VIP plastic. Also, probably not underrated, but what I recommend for beginners to make a straight shot is Lat64 Opto Claymore.
Diamond is very beginner friendly. It was the first disc I learned how to hyzer flip and now I can't throw it since I've learned to put more spin on the disc
after taking years off the game and just getting back into it this year i have heavily relied on a few discs to help me out. a starting over beginner you might say. mvp detour, discmania function, zeta moon cd1, and mvp trail. these discs have changed my disc golf game and i can recommend then enough.
All the lat 64 easy to throw line up to me is a great starter. From the diamond, sapphire, pearl, and ruby. All great disc and easy to use as a beginner
as a beginner starting last year, i loved the lat64 diamond. its obviously insanely flippy and perfect for a slower arm. i play with a lot of older people in my league, that are 50+ and a lot of them throw the diamond as well. was the 1st disc i was able to get an actual full flight out of
If you are learning touch as a beginner, the Halo Rollo is perfect. It will teach you angles and finesse. Even with a steep hyzer, if you power through the disc, it will turn into a roller. That said, you can get this out to 350+ in the air if you throw smooth.
Infinite Discs Maya is so amazing for beginners or those who want a sick hyzer flip disc. My son was crushing it this last tournament so it can handle a lot of power.
I give beginners, most anyway, a DX Dart or Mirage, 155 or less. Shaman is on point. Gateway puts out a number of lightweight kid and beginner friendly discs, very cool.
I really like my Opto River. It does glide like crazy per the 7🤔 glide number. Probably really good for beginners. Your FD choices offer a similar flight. Now I want to try them. I would say get a good premium plastic 5-5-0-2 (Emac Truth is one I like) because those are useful and versatile as you gain some arm speed and learn the new burned over bad shot. 😅
I have two discs that get overlooked! The discraft archer was the first disc I ever got to hyzerflip! Then I moved to a clash disc soda as a get out of jail free card disc!
The Innova Coyote is the best beginner disc around. It was my first disc and when I let my friends use it they prefer it over the buzzz, proxy, praxis, or any mid/putter I give them. Give it a shot!
@@williamhubert6299 Yes I know. But its still not the same if you get it as Anubis. Tho i did find one in champion plastic but its not the same as good ol' DX! :)
I don't think the Discmania MD is now the MD1. The MD was only manufactured by Innova. It has not been brought back by Discmania since bringing their manufacturing in-house. The Innova-made MD1 flight #'s were 4/4/0/2. When Discmania created the new mold for the MD1 the numbers were listed as 5/6/0/0. The MD numbers were 4/5/0/0. But I still love all of your videos. :)
I like to the recommend the mvp uplink to beginners. Seems to be the farthest flying disc in their bag and can teach them how to throw smooth hyzer flips
Just curious the best content available for people that are a little more advanced but still want to work on their games and learn about discs for them. I am at a point where some of the discs I loved as a beginner I now can’t throw. Not sure if this is me or the disc beat in quickly and has a different flight pattern now.

The Westside Tarsus is a great beginner midrange and the Latitude 64 Maul is an awesome fairway driver for beginners.
Just like the Tursas, Westside Underworld is a great beginner disc. Very similar flight, just moving up from 5 to 7 speed.

The starter pack from them is sooooo good
Such a fun disc to throw!

The Innova Panther is very underrated. (5/4/-2/1) but goes dead straight especially in Z plastic. Great for beginners and more.
Um Z plastic is discraft
Haha, good looking out, I meant Opto? Kidding, I fixed it.@@entropie
I have been playing for 4 months now , my favorite dependable disc is the Opto Air Fuse. Great disc!!

My dad is 66, his friend is 60, both bag the diamond. Westside's Underworld can get older arms more distance as well.
Love the Popcorn, but I like the TSA Praxis even more. Also any TSA mid, Pathfinder or Mana.

The Innova IT is a great beginner disc.
AXIOM DISCS PARADOX is the number one disc i’d recommend for newbies ✨
I recommend the condor. It's so big and has so much glide.
Trash Pandas starter pack is so great for beginners 🎉
I give beginners, most anyway, a DX Dart or Mirage, 155 or less. Shaman is on point. Gateway puts out a number of lightweight kid and beginner friendly discs, very cool.
Innova Beast and Tern are great stepping stones into higher speed discs for beginners
I'm here for the disc-cusion :)
The Popcorn is moneyyy
Innova Thunderbird for me it was my best beginner disc

MD1 or Mako 3 type , great teaching tool and a disc that will grow with you
Great list. Thank you for always putting out engaging content.
Thanks for the support!
The Dynamic Maverick
I give beginners a thrashed Roc from my retired pile, a putter, and some understable fairway.
I give beginners an aviar, a paradox and lightweight F7 when they go out with me. And at 130-ish grams the lightweight F7 is just fun
I have two discs that get overlooked! The discraft archer was the first disc I ever got to hyzerflip! Then I moved to a clash disc soda as a get out of jail free card disc!

Coyote was my first disc too. too bad they stoppped manufacturing it
@@Lapsteri still available as the infinite anubis or on the factory store
@@williamhubert6299 Yes I know. But its still not the same if you get it as Anubis. Tho i did find one in champion plastic but its not the same as good ol' DX! :)
The Hex, Crave, and the SVEA all are great
I struggled so hard with the aero. It would ALWAYS turn over on me. Maybe it was my grip, idk. I wanted to love it but couldn't...😢
I used XT Novas for quite a while
Latitude 64 Diamond. Lightweight Westside VIP Air Underworld. Axiom Electron Proxy. My dad is 66 and likes these a lot.

cicada and dga vortex are good starting discs and bag keepers
DGA vortex an underrated disc for beginners.
Im a beadless kinda guy for the most part but the bead on the Bounty never bothered me, I think cause it is pretty shallow overall
I found an innova skeeter in the woods and it was dead straight when I was just starting with a super slow arm speed.
Just started watching. Jackalope better be on here
Good. It was the second disc
Won a doubles match with a 80' throw in. With a areo

Innova Panther.

First?! Finally!
Discmania Rockstar was cash for me as a beginner!🎸🥏
