- On 27 May Darren Till will compete at UFC Liverpool - the first UFC event to take place in the city. While he's competing in the headline bout (against American fighter Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson), he's just one of many MMA fighters who are putting the northwest city on the map. Yeah Huyton is in Knowsley which is about 5 miles outside the Liverpool city border but I would argue that you're still scouse if you're from Huyton
