I usually start with these videos that way when I get to class I already understand everything the professor is talking about. Ninja Nerd Science videos usually give me twice as much information in half the time of my professors.
Not every professor is a skilled tutor, and most of the don't even wanna be tutoring. And than you get the situation where neither you nor the professor wanna be there at the lecture.
A bad situation indeed

@@nikola4962 most aren’t, I’ve met 1 professor in my college career who teaches the material well in a concise fashion. Others either try to flex their abundance of knowledge and go off the rails or simply don’t understand what they’re teaching and get everybody confused.
I am not a medical student or pre med... as a genomics scientist I can say that Zach does a terrific job explaining!!! Amazing!

Hey Zach. I'm an mbbs student and today I'm here to wish you a "very very happy teachers' day" man. You certainly are a great teacher and life savior😇. I've my endocrinology test by tomorrow and you're lectures have once again saved from wasting so much extra time on guyton than is needed.
Exactly Glutton is not as easy as this lecture
That feeling of joy when you finish watching the video and you understand every single thing
I am grateful that you are in RUclips.
"I like milk too but that's not the point" 😂
Our whole PA program is watching your vids as a supplement to our lectures. Thanks!
Lol!!! I love that!!! So happy to help!!!
@@NinjaNerdOfficial , please could you help me understading possibly the cause of pseudogout. Thanks!
Why can't the people who get all my tuition money teach like this?
YES
very simply is life unfair
🤣🤣 so true
They probably still dont know the material

MBBS student, I've got endocrinology exam tomorrow, you've made me understand everything 😭❤️
Just to clarify: overall net effect of PTH activity is INCREASED blood calcium and REDUCED blood phosphate; VITAMIN D causes INCREASED calcium and INCREASED phosphate. This makes sense if you remember that responding to LOW CALCIUM is the key here - the systems are not trying primarily to alter blood phosphate (which is generally much less clinically concerning at abnormal levels).
Excellent lecture!
Thank you So much
Can you explain the end Results of all the process (PTH and Vit D) on calcium and phosphate
i was looking for this comment!
Yes Ninja nerd you are helping us. Pls make more videos. Thank you for your excellent work .
As someone who had primary hyperparathyroidism (adenoma on LR parathyroid), I really appreciate this. I wish gen practitioners knew more about parathyroid problems.
Hey it is of great pleasure to inform you that I passed my exams because of your videos, keep up the good work and God bless you, thank you very much.
You are a true blessing, you managed to teach me about endocrinology in short videos which doesn't add up to 5 hours, in which my lecturers took 4 classes of 2 hours each to teach but i didn't understand much... THANK YOU SO MUCH NINJA NERD
“PTH ready to FRICK THINGS UP” 😂
Sir!!! God bless you, infact I'm more thankful that you decided to open a RUclips channel to educate us, thank you soooo much sir.

I've learned so much since I started to watch your video lessons, you're a genius!! Thanks again!
I like those videos (like Dr Najeeb's for example), where you can relax and get knowledge with clear explanation where you don't have to rack your brains to understand.. Well done!!

I watched lots of videos - including my uni lectures - to understand the relationship between calcitonin, V D, and the PTH, and finally, I understood it with this video. Thanks a lot man.
My mother just had a high PTH level. So looking forward to this video to learn more.
You are my LIFESAVER!!!!!!!! I adore you

I have a business background and extremely curious mind and I must say you're making me go to med school for how clearly you explained everything! Makes sense to prepare ourselves prior to going to a doctor and these videos help a lot! Thanks
I totally agree. I have been diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism, so I will need to have surgery. My doctors gave me an overall view of the diagnosis, but Zach has given me a cellular level view of the situation. :)
Agreed!!!!

you are a life SAVIOUR Zack!😭
I hope you always stay blessed, healthy and gets wealthy but still be the wonderful teacher that you are. Ma shaa Allah !
Somehow it seems inadequate to just say THANK YOU for this incredible lecture on a subject that is of paramount importance to me. I have been diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism. My doctors gave me an overall view of what the diagnosis entails, and I did some research online, but I didn't really understand the process until I found your lecture. It is so amazing that such a tiny gland has such a responsible job to do! It is also amazing that the malfunctioning of the gland can have such an impact on the whole body and interfere with my energy level, control of my body temperature, mood swings, etc... Again, THANKS A MILLION for sharing your knowledge with us. I feel a lot more confident now that I know the process. I can only hope that when they do the surgery they will find that just one of the parathyroids needs to be taken out. Would hate to face the rest of my life without their help! :)
Wt a lecture sir, a mind opening lecture of my life as per my endo studie.May God bless u sir...
If my professor explained this, it was not possible to understand. If Zach explain things it's so easy to get it. Thank you. :D
