Ed is a master of subtlety, his arrangement and phrasing behind the melody is the key to his beautiful playing style. There are plenty of uber dynamic and percussive speed demons out there, but Ed Gerhard's melodic approach to his compositions and arrangements often have a calming spiritual air about them....never more evident than on this.
