I haven't played Pixel Worlds in about two years now so I stumbled on your video by sheer accident but I think it's incredible how similar your style is to somebody like Moon who's notoriously know for making documentary style content. I absolutely loved this video. Please keep it up!
as a player since beta, it's sad to see the game go down this path. The devs are opaque as hell and we stuff ideas down their throats. Apparently, the devs aren't completely responsible, but the board of directors. since the byte coins update, you can see Jake being more opaque, shifting blame and so on.. they removed the old forums without a single warning, made us wait months for a new forum that only takes a few days of throwing around plugins. years of childhood and data down the drain.

Ended up quitting growtopia back in 2018 and went to pixel worlds after seeing the better reviews of the game and now it’s almost as if the game dies down overtime just like gt did
Man I remember when I first played like 7 years ago. Good times. It’s sad to see the game dying but I suppose it was expected (also I didn’t know daily bonus was a world you could visit for a solid 2 years because a friend was there and there was no tutorial at the time)

I've played mobile games my entire life, My only regret when I downloaded and started playing pw, was that I didn't play sooner. Most games I played on the platform require energy or stamina based gameplay. In pixel worlds, you can get as rich as you're willing to, I've never seen a game that offers the player such a ability to grow, I went from 0bc to 7mil in a year. I won the scorcher mask my first year and that feeling was amazing. As for the gap, it's more of a pay fence, poor players can become rich but don't know how to, that's where having friends helps. I have faith in pw and hope it continues to grow. My friends like it but want more player interaction like dungeons ect. I truly love pw, and I most likely won't find another game just like it ❤️
Try GrowTopia, despite it having a bunch of Gamblers, Scammers and Bots, it still pretty doing well and alive since 2014, it's a game that has the same genre as pixel worlds (well, i think pixel worlds was inspired from growtopia) but it has alot of differences as each game is unique. Although the best way of profiting on GrowTopia is farming (specially when you get the Gaia & Unstable tesseract which will make farming much easier), Ghost hunting, provider farms and other more profitable method including the illegal ones. (which might get you banned lol) anyways that's all i can say and sorry if my grammar is rubbish i guess?.
And community. Pixel worlds community isnt great but ita far better than growtopia. Also pve. Growtopia dont have any pve besides maybe ghost catching but that not really that fun compared tocwhat pixel worlds have. If pixel worlds was still getting updates id choose it over growtopia@Imperial125

Let's be real. In order for a game to have a stable player base. All games face this same problem. "Replayability" It's what's keep people going or coming back to. A popular solution to the problem most game company use are updates. But without it the game would lose interest. PW is one of them. For now I hope. The second solution is the community itself. How fun is it to talk and socialize with people? PW attempts to adapt this. It works, sure but in my experiences the majority I see is people talking about selling, buying, deals. At some point it will get repetitive. Most people are more to have interest on daily topics. Interesting stories. Or something new. And not some voice recording on repeat. But I mean if you like listening to deals I mean you do you. That's you. I don't judge anyone. The third solution is very hard to pull of but is quite effective. And that is. "Let the game update itself" It combines 2 of the solutions above. A great example of this is L4D2 and TF2 Although both games lack updates. The community is still growing and the game is still fun to play. (Totally not biased here) TF2 Is always new because the people you meet are different varieties you can chat. Taunt at. Or made to fight them. L4D2 Is always new because of the director. He is the one that spawn enemies. Supplies. Block certain paths or create hordes. All of this on random or how well are you playing. If you are doing too good you get less help from the director. Or even downright punish you. If you are doing too poor he might be kind to give you stuffs. Every playthrough isn't the same. The forth solution is skill ceiling. But since PW isn't a skill based game i'm not gonna talk about it. All and all PW is a great game with great developers and community for submitting fanmade items that made it into the game or not. Let's hope for the greater future for PW and hope that it doesn't end up the same fate as its counterpart that sold out to a money milking company with crappy update ideas.

I havnt played pw in a few years and dang, this hit like a curve ball, i remeber a few years ago when i played pw like it was my job, the events, trading, people ive met, seeing the devs partake in the community, jake even visited my world once in his live stream a few years ago, the hype was insane for updates, the community was booming, seeing "sieggy"'s username after years brought back memories, and seeing the state of the game now lowkey makes me sad, prehaps a new pw like game will come out but these type of games have gone extinct, everyone one of these games dies at some point, but anyway, thanks gor making this, very great video 👍
They are also located next to a strip club, in the same building, nextdoor.. Quite suspicious when I walked by the other day.. It's where the trash of society here come in the evening. The electricity prices here in Finland are getting crazy; I doubt the company will survive over the winter. The financial statement isn't very promising either, with the company facing tons of losses.

I live next to Kukouri Mobile Entertainment headquarters in Finland, and Pixel Worlds has made them only debt, this year they went almost 200K euros in debt and you can fact check it because it is public information, but it's all in Finnish language. Never played the game myself tho, because it is a growtopia rip off.
Pixel worlds has its bores, but the only thing you can do to *profit* is to mine for hours, and other things take skill and smartness, which is why the age general on this game is about 10-12 yrs old

As someone who stopped playing the game before its downfall, i was actually glad that it ended up like this since my friend circle now decided to quit as well. I was just tired of everyone around me talking about something i was not interested in, so in the end its a positive thing for me.
