cuz of your video and others I have been tracking down some First editions of my own. Proud to say I now own near mint versions of1964 Lincoln Continental, Ford Anglia Panel Truck, Cabbin' Fever, Greased Lightnin' . In blister I have Pro Stock Pontiac Firebird, Deuce Roadster, 1968 Chevy El Camino, Phantastique, Thomassima 3 first ,and final run. Surf Crate, 1941 Willys and the black one too. Lous Elise 340R, So Fine, MX48 Turbo, Metrorail Nash Metropilitan(looking to find all versions of this car), Shoe Box, Vulture, Roll Cage, Hammered Coupe, and Arachnorod(my favorite). Thanks again.
Of this entire series, I have the following in First Ed: Deora 2, '68 El Camino, and Roll Cage. Though, all three suffered drastic design changes. Deora 2 now has molded surfboards, the El Camino had it's spoiler eventually removed and convered, with exposed engine pipes (still looks nice), and Roll Cage lost its spare tire.
Beautiful selection of first editions, I think I stopped enjoying the first editions by the year 2003 which was when they started introducing the Tooned series etc, although I do enjoy Hot Wheels overall till 2006, from that point onwards they aren't as pretty anymore in my opinion... Out of the 2000 first editions I have: Pro Stock Firebird, Deora ll, Lotus Elise 340R, Anglia Panel Truck and finally the Austin-Healey : ) I think that the first edition Deora ll is the nicest of them all. By the way I noticed that some of the axles are a bit rusted despite the rest of the car being in excellent condition, how does that happen and how can I avoid it? I started my collection last year so my cars havent been outside of their blister for longer than a year and they are still in perfect condition, but I wanna avoid that happening if I plan to maintain them for decades to come
Yeah I stopped collecting in 2002, because I thought I was too old for hot wheels, haha how stupid of an idea is that? Then I got back into it in 2017 because I wanted to have a complete set o the 1995 model series cars. I hated the tooned, and fast back series, so ugly. The Lotus 340R and the Angela Panel are two of my favorites from the 2000 1st editions.
I have a collection from 2000 down to 68 hard to find stuff tracks games toothbrushes keychains I will teddy bears you name it I've got it probably going to sell it Sunday

i have the shoebox, is it rare? worth anything?
The car has a wheel variation. I think the PR5's are the less common wheel. Not sure on value between the two.
