It was so cool. Even the betrayal didn't really take you out of the emersion. Idk how IM could make the game more like this without turning of pvp though. The passion that they put into this boss fight is clearly what they imagined dark and darker to be like.

@@dabberino Not sure what you are getting at, but taking inspiration from other games is a majority of what indie game dev is (You don't need to reinvent the wheel). Also, it is definitively not a "Carbon Copy" idk why you say that.
Dude, that many players killing a giant ass dragon was sick. Dark and darker need more of that, also a 5 teams mode will be incredible. But for that, the game clearly need a bigger playerbase

@@norecordingsoftware3309 True, the current implementation is way to easy for experienced players and way to hard for beginners. I think a bit of randomness in attacks will improve this divide. But IM also needs a better blocking and parry system that should be able to be used with any weapon. Something in-between the realistic shield system DaD has and the Arcady block that games like Chivalry 2 has.
Dude the dragon fight is clearly what IM envisioned the game being. Sad they didn't have the resources to get it correct the first time but hopefully they can still.

He happens to join this vanquishing party and sings and spreads songs in the tavern to future generations in praise of the heroes assembled to defeat the literal giant and brutal Lord who lurks in the depths of the ice caves, and their leader, Knight Fred. It is a great pity that this streamer did not survive to the end, so I would like to pretend that a dragon was slain soon after he fainted, so that he could be rescued in time and miraculously survived.
Whole lobby came together for the same cause. Many falling and few prevailing. That was truly epic! Nvm...Commented too soon. The ending was too brutal.
This kind of makes me wish the game wasn't just an extraction looting game. Hope the team eventually makes another game that leans even more into the PvE side of things
Jay, do you think the druid should be able to stay in animal form indefinitely, and do you thing there should there be a cooldown between shifts? It's so much fun to play right now, I'm just scared of what there going to do to my mans
XD 1000%. You can go mark 10 by quick switching mobs, fly though doors faster than a barb while having the same health as one. And have the move speed and dps of a rouge. It is every single class combined into one. This needs to be nerfed by almost 50% of what it currently is, or even better they could make every class as cool as druid.

I played a game in the LFG with one of the guys who was in this, he was complaining that "nobody was listening" and that everyone died before killing the dragon but I recognize his username, I think he ragequit after lol
this was a super cool to watch and i even think the general idea for what they did with this fight is cool but the fact that you have to team with another team just to access the fight fundamentally for the game is really dumb, especially after seeing that loot spread. even if that was just a fluke or they would happen to buff the loot to be the best loot drop in the game, as it should be considering it takes 4 people to access, all that would do is cause pre-teaming issues because they themselves are incentivizing people to do it, whether that was the goal or not thats what people will do. something ironmace really needs to learn is to read their player base and understand if you give them something they can abuse 90% of the player base will actively abuse it every time they play and you'd think theyd learn that after buff ball, the previous teaming issue, and singular unbalanced classes making up 95% of every lobby, that these players take a mile when given an inch. im calling the first named item drop from wyvern, and IC will be a no fly zone because every fight will be a 4vX, ive already saw people in the lfg and gathering hall pre teaming for it.
Yeah they need to buff that treasure that's some bullshit... Needs to be AT LEAST 2 GAURENTEED legendaries and a chance for a Named.. cuz if you kill that dragon u need enough loot to share between the survivors
