Thanks for the video. Think you mentioned in another video about replacing the left hand point on the new scrap yard sidings with a right hand - I think it will look so much better if you did that.
Regarding the previous update, the algorithm was really pushing it. Your videos have popped up on my feed every now and then, but this particular one was persistent! Got yourself a new subscriber because of it. Enjoying the videos :)
My current layout is Walmington-on-Sea - a Dad’s Army layout. My collection of locomotives are Southern Railway steam locomotives and my son has just completed turning it into the Dad’s Army layout it is.
Gee, that last build update video is doing well. Most people can't work out why 1 video does 10 times better than the last. Maybe it's a good sign for this video. 😊 You're right though, that bloke doing the ballasting made a terrible mess. you should have a word with him. Nice update mate.👍
Yeah it seemed to be quite a hit! I didnt really do anything different though i dont think? If only it was always that good hey 🤓 I will tell his boss!!! She will sort him out! 😄
Brilliant video, as always, Eric. Great weathering on the yellow wagons. Dirtier the better !! Heljan dogfish I find a pain. Nice wagons though. I have a rake of 10 and the couplings are cr@p. Don't get de-railing problems though (apart from when pushed !). Waiting to see how you're going to do your canal water. Great idea on the exhibition layout.
Always a pleasure when a new video drops! I watch it at least twice over picking up all the details - my only request is to see at least one train running each video - that's just me :) Keep up the great work 😎😎
Great to hear the locomotives as well as seeing them move!! Three of my locomotives have DCC Sound fitted to them!! They’re the Wainwright C Class, the Southern T9 greyhound and the little M7 tank locomotive.
Wow!….youve made some good progress Eric! A bit of feedback though…the virtual quarry track would not be weathered like that irl as there arent trains running. Would it not be more clean and dusty? Just a thought not a criticism by any means mate.
Great video dude. The layout and mancave are really looking good. @39.26 Have you tried using paintbrushes rather than your fingers to apply paint? 😉 It's not quite as fun, but its more accurate 😊
sorry if my coment on your last vedeo sounded rude its just nice to see trains go around sutch a butifull lsayout i am gratefull that you and others have posted london undergroud and transport related videos im verry sorry but if you colud do oun that whold be apreseated im verry intreated in the UG/LT and your vedeos are verry help full

yes buy you asked us to comment on what we thought you should do with the litttle shelf / exhibition layout on top. i dont mind either way to be honest but i always like to comment a least once and i was trying to be funny ;(@@UndergroundEric
Using scrap pieces is always good, I keep a large plastic container full of scrap materials..nicely done and thanks for sharing your work…
Great update layout is coming along nicely. Did enjoy the static grass monster, thought I was watching the young ones for a minute 😂
😂😂😂😂 gotta have a laugh haha
Yes! That's where it's from. Well, inspired by. Couldn't place it, thanks.
you done a grat job on the wethen looks like the london undergrund yellow carriages
Wow, Eric, fantastic video of the layout, and it was nice to Look at what you work has in reality.
Thanks for the video.

Thanx again Eric...always the showman..

Cheers! Yeah thats odd hey, i must have just gotten lucky mate! Hope you enjoy the vids 🙂😇
the "measure once, cut twice" approach still has me in stiches... love it... all looking good Eric....
😂😂 its gotta be my catchphrase now surely

Bloody good idea for the L shaped layout. Go for it. Thanks for another great vid.
Thanks mate!
great viewing as always.
Thanks mark!

Gotta be filthed up!!
The dogfish i will need to sort out soonish, theyll go nicely with a pannier tank.
Im still too scared to do the canal 😂😂😂
Ballast yard looking very realistic. Another great video.
Cheers matey!
Particularly loving the stone yard and weathering 👍🏻
Cheers bud!
Just what was needed for a windy rainy night. Nice one Eric. Enjoyable as always.
Thanks mate!
That yard has come along very nice, Eric.
Thanks mate
I love watching your videos, as I don't have the space to have a model railway layout of my own. Good luck with your next phase of building!
There is always space surely! How about a small shelf setup? 😇
Well done, Eric. I enjoy your updates, and modelling methods.
Thanks. Im fully ‘winging it’ 😅
love to see a little bit about croxley green station
The Big BR locomotive looks great on that line!! But give me a steam locomotive any day of the week!!
Very nice work Eric. Your layout is coming along very prettily indeed! Happy new year. Rgds, Joachim
Thankyou! Hope you have a great one!
Let me take this opportunity to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year!!
Always a pleasure when a new video drops! I watch it at least twice over picking up all the details - my only request is to see at least one train running each video - that's just me :) Keep up the great work 😎😎
I will have to make more of an effort mate! Sounds like a plan 😇
Great to hear the locomotives as well as seeing them move!! Three of my locomotives have DCC Sound fitted to them!! They’re the Wainwright C Class, the Southern T9 greyhound and the little M7 tank locomotive.
Measure once, cut twice and if it’s a good day, not much swearing. Good to realise I am not the only one who never seems to learn…!
I always learn from my mistakes, but i never put it into practice haha
Another super update. Will it ever be finished? I think we'll be entertained for quite a while before that can be said!!
I hope so! I want a day off! 😂
Good evening Eric!! Nice to see a Tube train layout!! I’m considering adding a Tube train to a layout that’s in the design stages.
Looking good
Thankyou!
Just awesome mate
Cheers mate
Great video Eric why don't you put a crane next to the canal with a barge with ballast on it for your yard !!!!
Now there is an interesting idea!!
No!!! dont get rid of the turntable. Got to have a turntable.
Wow!….youve made some good progress Eric! A bit of feedback though…the virtual quarry track would not be weathered like that irl as there arent trains running. Would it not be more clean and dusty? Just a thought not a criticism by any means mate.
You say that, yet ive been in plenty of yards for my job and most of them are all VERY old run down trackwork!
There's much to be said for a spot of Undergroundry of an evening.
Cant beat it! Haha
Great video dude. The layout and mancave are really looking good. @39.26 Have you tried using paintbrushes rather than your fingers to apply paint? 😉 It's not quite as fun, but its more accurate 😊
🤣🤣🤣 for some reason i thought holding something in my hand whilst spray painting was a good idea. Skin is PPE right?
@@UndergroundEric Absolutely it is.

You're as bad as me!
Measure once, cut twice 😂
And breathing apparatus?
Yeah hoodie over nose and mouth will be fine! 😂
😂😂😂😂 live life on the edge hahaha.
Think measure once cut twice is defo my trademark ha!
static grass monster says " focus on the main layout " ;)
This is the main layout!
yes buy you asked us to comment on what we thought you should do with the litttle shelf / exhibition layout on top. i dont mind either way to be honest but i always like to comment a least once and i was trying to be funny ;(@@UndergroundEric
The ironic thing is ive been working on the ‘actual main layout’ being harefield road today haha, for once! 🤣
nice :)@@UndergroundEric
Is the locomotive I mentioned before a 47, a 50 or a 57?
Hi, for reference, your "radio mast" is actually a mobile phone mast
Cheers, silly me! 😇
@@UndergroundEric Don't worry. I don't think antenna shapes is general knowledge.
I did a specific course on them!
