I was there... The best game i have seen in quite some time... A good aftergame fireworks show is always good to see after a walk off win.

I agree. I work night shift and saw final score of 10-9 after 14 innings. I got off work early and watched the replay on MLB, and for sure, one of best mid season game I ever watched. And since MLB changed the rules, 14 innings doesn't take all night! 🎆🎇🧨

Best, most exciting game of the year. So cool seeing all these guys that played together through the minor leagues reunited on the big stage.
I thought the Mets/Braves game from night before was a wild classic, but this game clearly tops that and has been one of the best games all year thus far.

This is why I like the extra inning ghost runner rule. It INSTANTLY makes extras super exciting, like College Football Overtime. Before, extra innings could turn into a long, boring slog, just waiting for somebody to hit a HR. Now you’ve got instant action on the basepaths, instant small-ball, instant situational hitting …. I understand this is a controversial opinion that many will disagree with, but I’m a huge fan of the change.
