Nice video. There was actually a Bela Lugosi Dracula. I didn't think from what I could tell the likeness was good.
Great model
Love the detail on this kit. Never heard of this now defunct Horizon models company but did some 'research' (Google!) and they made some great kits. Interesting history too.
Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Phill I love watching your show your funny and entertaining fun to watch unlike other so boring and mundane channels
I've got an ED-209 I built in 1995. His acrylic paint looks as good as it did the first day right now. 'Course I have to wash him to get the dust of to see that.
Oh! He is big! I thought he would be one of those old 6 inch ones. Vinyl is very cool indeed. Way easier than resin.
I did the Terminator from Horizon, great sculpts.
I built almost all the kits that Horizon put out .Filled the shelves at the hobby store for display.
Brilliant paint job - I think I have two vinyl kits in the back of the stash, must dive in and see...
Excellent work as always sir
I have a Vinyl Lugosi Dracula, could've sworn it was a Horizon kit.
I never had many vinyl kits, Dracula, Pfieffer Catwoman, Keaton Batman, Kilmer Batman and a Nnja Turtle and i never primed any of them.
I painted Humbrol enamel paints straight on and never had any issues.
Don't forget to tell people with vinyl kits to look for bubbles/holes. Fill them with putty. Horizon did alot of different vinyl kits.
looks awesome. Love the end result!
I love it. Really came out nice Phil.
turned out great!
Thank You 😊.
That looks awesome. I love how the texture effect and paint make the wrappings so realistic. You now need a Dracula, Werewolf and Frankenstein :D
That was rather rollicking! Neat build-- I do wish you'd followed through on having the fellow step up on something. I wonder if you'd tried a ramp shape out of that stuff? (Plus, the big box stores sell 2x2 foot sections of that foam! Much better.) Or, if you'd tried heating the ankle joint to bend it to suit...?
Very nice rundown of materials. I was dubious of the scale of that gauze at first, now a believer.
Very spooky indeed!
Ken Spriggs has done some Horror classic kits. He blew me away because he did at least one in black and white. So... dramatic. You sho do Boris in greyscale.
OMG! Spam calls, really do my head in. Phone rings for like a second or so, and you haave to be super careful not to answer it, as it will cost you a fortune!
Absolutely amazing Phil!
The hand under the rubble was a brilliant idea and had me laughing!
Beautiful work on the painting. You are such an incredible modeler and I always learn so much from you Phil.
The base just turned out perfect! I have several items like that that I'll see from time to time and will stuff them away for a future build.
Thank you for all that you do, and for keeping the hobby entertaining and fun! 🖖
Absolutely brilliant Phil. The end result is fantastic. You have truly captured the mummy from that era. The diorama well fits in with the theme. I thoroughly enjoy watching your builds. Happy Halloween Phil
Are you my mummy?...oops, wrong Doctor..
Boris Karloff had use of both arms. The character you have is Lon Chaney Jr.
I think this one is actually George Zucco Mummy's Hand. The likeness is great.
Loving the end result! This is a tricky kit to find right now, but the re-pops of the old aurora kit are readily available online. Figure kits are great for miniature painters wanting to get into scale models as well. So many techniques can be used between the two hobbies. Happy Halloween, Phil. My 10/31 build should be up soon.

Spam the meat = tasty. Spam the call = head for the Hills...
You should know that.
Ummm aah
Dont look now, but I think he has a bit of toilet paper stuck to his foot...
Excuse me!!! That’s Charmin! And…for your information, it two-ply!!!
Not " bandages " ..... Wrappings. ( Also you can refer to the pictures on the box 📦 for the wrappings placement ) , p.s. ... The Hammer Horror version 1959 ( my favorite ) was played by the great Christopher Lee
