@@frankennis2947 thank you 🙏, the 800DE is a solid bike, I only had it on loan for a few adventures. It's a very well balanced machine, but a bit too heavy for me. Can't go wrong with a 650 Strom, it's such a good motor. I had a gen2 sv650 for a while and loved that VTwin power delivery and feel.
Nice video mate, that v strom looks the goods, improvement in looks over previous models, got a bit of old school Katana about it. Sweet little tent too. Keep up the good work👍
Cheers mate much appreciated 😁, I very much agree with you. The new v-strom looks a lot better than the last gen. katana meets the BIG DR. She's been really enjoyable to ride off-roads. I unfortunately don't get to keep her it was a loan from Suzuki Australia. Thanks for watching mate.
Cheers mate, much appreciated, and thank you for watching 🙏, The 800De is such a good bike. It is not mine unfortunately, I have it on loan from Suzuki Australia for a few adventures. I reckon ep.11 onwards is a good watch, I was still foguring out my style before that episode 😀.
Thanks mate, much appreciated. For ease of set-up on a warm night, this tent is amazing, super easy to set up and very small once packed. But it is a bit on the cheap side. It was discontinued last year unfortunately, but I did find a very similar one on Amazon, I have a link in the description :).
Love the camera and sound work, Will. I’m still pulling all my moto-camping kit together and appreciate the links in the description. Such a beautiful area to ride. Makes me want to move to Australia. Keep up the great work!
Thanks mate :), you are not wrong, for that type of terrain, the 800DE is right at home. Bitnonnthe heavy side but not overly noticeable unless you have to pick her up 😁. You are welcome to join anytime mate. I'll given you a heads up next I go out.
@Tales_Of_Moto_Adventures one love man. I have the same exact vstrom800de. We both picked the best looking color scheme 😂 . I'm looking forward to more videos. Cheers from the USA
@@Mark-d5f7z cheers mate, I reckon that colour combo is the best out of the three, very good choice :). I honestly wish that the 800DE was mine. It is a loan from Suzuki Australia for my adventures. Such an awesome machine.
Not gunna lie loving the quieter bike. For a 800 it sounds a lot quieter then the drz on camera anyway, a lot better stealth camping in the forest. Re heating yummy home made food is the best, can’t wait until it cools down to start cooking soups and stews again. And hats off to ya, if it’s forecast to be over 32 degrees I’m staying home unless I can camp on water. Great vid man thanks for sharing
Cheers mate. Man the DRZ is so loud even with stock pipes. the DE is much quieter but still has a really nice rumble to her. it is a nice change tbh. I usually cant hear my cardo unit above 40kmh on the drz, but on the DE I can clearly hear at hwy speeds. If she was 3-4 db louder it would be perfect, it is fairly hard to record riding exhaust sounds with the stock pipes. Lima bean and beef stew was definitely my favourite camping meal to date man. I am planning on taking Korean slow cooked pulled beef on the next trip.
@@Tales_Of_Moto_Adventures man the more I see this bike the more I’m tempted to head into my dealer and test ride it. Can’t post gifs here but Homer drooling is the best response
Cheers mate, thanknyou gor watching. When does your riding season start? Here we can ride all year around, but the national parks closes a lot of the tracks for for the winter season.
I just started to ride with a guy here in Hobart with the latest 800 V-Strom, I have to admit I'm rather taken by the colour scheme of this bike. It is very nice looking.👌 Another very nice video, I don't know how you do, get these nice locations to yourself.👍
enjoyabl watching. very nearly bought the 800 de strom, but ended up just buying my third 650 strom 2024 xt.. great bikes.

Cheers mate 🙏. The DRZ is currently pulled apart, I'm trying to suss out a few issues with the oil check valve. And a hot idle issue.
Fun and games hey 👍
Nice vid bro!Need to come back to Australia 😢
Thanks dude 🙏, If you come back to Oz hit me up, we can head out for a moto camp session.

Hi Brother..Do you experience any vibration from the motor at any particular rpm band?
Hey mate, I have not notice too many vintations, the motor is really smooth and well balanced throughout the rev range.
