This joint is better than anything .. ANYTHING you can find on Worldstarhip hop .... all those fake ass copy cat same sounding wanna be rappers. Man I swear to god if I hear about another blunt, money, cars and women I will lose it. This is real hiphop. KRS-One is a legend.
Live from the streets is definitely one of the best music series out right now. I love the consept of just making music out of the streets, by recording street musicians, people or just sounds. The results of the recordings and work, is amazing. After i saw the first LFtS episode, i was just so amazed on how much and amazing you could do out of something little. One other thing which i love about the series, was watching new episodes dropping, while i was in the army. Knowing that new episodes were to drop, made some of the long days much better, and once a episode dropped, it made my day much better. I also like that the series have taken it international. Much more new and different music, styles, musicians, episodes and songs of course. This is my favourite episode of season 3. THE ONE AND ONLY KRS-One!
JPosition yooooo the Live from the Streets album is out! Noisey hasn't posted about it at all but it's out. Buy it here: smarturl.it/livefromthestreets Or stream it here: soundcloud.com/greenhiphop/sets/live-from-the-streets-the-album. Thank you for watching the show, I'm workin on more episodes... stay tuned -Green
this series w Mr. Green is dope. I'm definitely loving the organic creation of the beats. s/o Hakim Green, KRS, Mr. Green, n all my Jerz heads making moves
From BMX to KRS. I see you Mr Green. You also brought the street musicians and sounds into the riding videos for the Animal-sphere. I see you God. And Hakeem. The work!!!!! Love it both
Whoa! Put together real well! This is HIP-HOP! Its a blessing just to be in the presence of KRS-1! I would love to just chill with him for a day. I know I would learn a lot in just 10 minutes.
The #Livefromthestreets album is one of my favourite album. I really started listening to it after i heard about you from R.A and your #Unpredictable album which is also one of my favourite album! Met you in Gotenburg when you were on tour with AFRO and R.A and bought a CD of livefromthestreets after talking too you abit and got hyped up for it (had only heard the youtube previews here beforehand) On my 320 miles drive home after the show i listened to it and it was super dope! Ended up buying a Livefromthestreets hoodie from your shop and loving it too! Was really just about to cop the vinyl aswell now when i saw your IG post :) #LIvefromthestreets also introduced me to alot of new artists i havent really listened that much too, such as Benefit, Jus Allah, Pacewon and really thanksfull for that! Cant wait for the next one to drop and hear aobut the Sean Price song you told me about! Peace
waking up the sheeple!!! seriously green I think you could probably put to the microphone somebody taking a s*** and come out with the most dope ass beat ever due to your creativity and talent but I appreciate that you exposed different forms of culture music and sound to people like myself and future generations who listen to this see how it can just evolve.... Music.
This is the shit that should be played on MTV, Educate the youth on real hip hop. Mr Green makes bumping beats from street musicians. Hip Hop is everywhere you go, from the bombs on the walls to the music in the streets.
pretty dope how you used soundscapes and live footage for the video and all that. You utilized everything, wasted nothing and did a lot with a little. That's Hip Hop!
How is EVERY EPISODE a banger!? Mr. green has truely mastered his craft. I'd do dirty photoshoots with Kim Kardashian for the opportunity to spit a verse on a beat from the master!
Damn! @0:40 That shit would sound hella dope as a synth on a Dr. Dre beat! Kinda crazy how Dre could use weird instruments and make a gangster beat out of 'em.
Producer Mr. Green is back with a New York legend.
