Too much alike in some respects. But in one very important respect, they're completely different, and that's what's grating in this interview. Theo's all about authenticity, flaws and everything. Whereas Pauly's gayer than hell and always has been. But on the downlow. Hidden from public most of his life, but on Kill Tony he's pretty out about it. So Pauly is used to professionally dodging questions and being inauthentic the way he's been his whole life. He's smart and manipulating the interview, whereas Theo is just genuine. @@EricaEsoterica Yep, when Shore doesn't want to answer or unknowledge a question he does an awkward shout out to someone random like his uncle or something like that. The dude is truly weird and seems to have a lot to hide.
Well if hes gay he must not be proud and is ashamed then. Poor guy. Theres nothing wrong with being gay the way you are talking about it. Comedy is his escape, I hope he keeps beîng funny.
His voice didn't crack like Shaggy when he said it. What's with all the capsies. You gotta place those strategically when there's a big change in pitch. You did well by stretching out the number of letters and guessed to where about you'd be at if you replaced the letters for vocalization, but there's too many y's. The 'ee' part is really short, it's like the juxtaposition on the "BBUUUUUHHHD" part, that's part of the magic. Anyway we just have to educate eachother, keep each other in check on shit that we pull out our asses.
A decade is a long time in the comedy business. To stay relevant to new generations is almost impossible. Look at Andrew dice clay for example. The man was on top of the world. Today he's lucky to have 100 people at his comedy shows. He once could sell out Madison square garden. Imagine the drop-off from being in multiple comedy movies to no longer being relevant in Hollywood. It's gotta be hard mentally. He seems a little salty but I can understand why.

Thats actually really smart@reikocakes
Dope episode ! Good to see Pauly on here . Love the convo n banter. Pauly seems more leveled here .
I Met Pauley in Utah when he was there for his short film for Sundance at the restaurant I was working at, he was super kind and I iust acknowledged that his movies made me laugh so much as a kid, he was generous and very humble, great dude!
nobody noticing theo said "hit me baby one more time"!? to a video of Britney Spears getting hit in the face LMAO
This is my favorite Pauly shore podcast I’ve listened to,
“Do you trust me?” … “I don’t know We’ll see” 😫🤣
I really enjoyed these two really great chemistry
The part about Theo asking pauly if he'd do scenes with men in a richard simmons movie, & Pauly shore basically hitting on theo is HILARIOUS.
Theo von as VP he would lean in give a head nod and say *gang gang baby." 😂
Imagine him as press secretary answering everyone’s questions 😂😂
There was some animosity in this interview and I can’t tell why lol
Too much alike in some respects. But in one very important respect, they're completely different, and that's what's grating in this interview. Theo's all about authenticity, flaws and everything. Whereas Pauly's gayer than hell and always has been. But on the downlow. Hidden from public most of his life, but on Kill Tony he's pretty out about it. So Pauly is used to professionally dodging questions and being inauthentic the way he's been his whole life. He's smart and manipulating the interview, whereas Theo is just genuine. This really illustrates the generational divide between them as well. Gay Coverup for celebrity vs Authentically Flawed for celebrity. Pauly never got the memo on the shift. PAULY SHORE IS SUPER GAY EVERYONE. Just like Richard Simmons. FIGURE IT OUT.
@@EricaEsotericawell put
@@EricaEsoterica Yep, when Shore doesn't want to answer or unknowledge a question he does an awkward shout out to someone random like his uncle or something like that. The dude is truly weird and seems to have a lot to hide.
Well if hes gay he must not be proud and is ashamed then. Poor guy. Theres nothing wrong with being gay the way you are talking about it. Comedy is his escape, I hope he keeps beîng funny.
Theo goes to rehab, Theo goes to prison, Theo goes to band camp, theo goes to africa....would all be hectic fire!
"Im still smoking, wheres Pauly Shore?" - Joey Diaz
Hahahaha 5 second of silence??? I knew Pauly couldn't STFU that long 😂😂😂
"HeEeEeeyyy BuUuuUuuddYYyyyY" - Paulie Shore
(Translate to English)
His voice didn't crack like Shaggy when he said it. What's with all the capsies. You gotta place those strategically when there's a big change in pitch. You did well by stretching out the number of letters and guessed to where about you'd be at if you replaced the letters for vocalization, but there's too many y's.
The 'ee' part is really short, it's like the juxtaposition on the "BBUUUUUHHHD" part, that's part of the magic. Anyway we just have to educate eachother, keep each other in check on shit that we pull out our asses.
I'd like to see Theo interview Norman Reedus
Hell yea
Yessss
I get this feeling Paulies jealous of newer comedians. He gives subtle backhanded compliments
Just like the catty queen Pauly actually is. Pauly's gayer than hell and always has been. On the downlow. Hidden from public most of his life, but on Kill Tony he's pretty out about it. PAULY SHORE IS SUPER GAY EVERYONE. Just like Richard Simmons. FIGURE IT OUT.
