Stayed here 2 years ago with a good deal jet2 at h10 salou princess. Food very good. Noticed that same deal jet2 now for week adult & child is £500 more! Your Salou videos are reminding me how busy it was. Anyone interested in history-Tarragona is nice chilled city very easy on bus and has loads of Roman ruins
The best breakfast is the grape vine Kevin! There Scottish breakfast is amazing! House of illusion is canny! Rodney the owner is a top fella! Harry potters is brilliant for the bingo as so cheap to sit and drink! And Harry Potter cheese toasties are insane
We love Salou. We were last there in May, 12 of us and we all really enjoyed it again. Head towards the centre, left out of your hotel, just behind the Barcelona FC shop is the Flower of Scotland bar. A nice place for something to eat is a bit further up the same road that the Flower is on, the Robin Hood bar but over the road.
If you walk right down to the other side of the promenade you'll find a many more bars/restaurants. Also from the very end of the ppromenade there is a boardwalk that stretches all.the way round to a really nice smaller secluded beach. Disabled friendly too. Been round it on my mobility scooter.
Your hotel is in a great position in a lovely area by the looks of it Kevin. I’ve never been to Salou so I’m looking forward to seeing the videos, I always love to see somewhere new.
@@magsstewart9112 Ah I didn’t realise there was an old town and new town in Salou, I’m looking forward to seeing both parts. This section of the old town looks lovely with its wide promenade and palm trees.
@@linzbarber you will not be disappointed it is a really nice place it's a beautiful walk from the old town to the new one àlong the beach front lovley shops an cafes enjoy 😊
Your hotel is more in the old town so you can walk right along the front towards Barcelona shop and then it will all open up for you. You are away along at the opposite end of that helps

Salou is very flat, great for mobility. House of illusion you walk past at the start is amazing!! We went for the magic show and it is all inclusive when you pay. Have dinner and all inclusive drinks. The fountains you pass at house of illusion have a beautiful fountain show at night at approximately 10pm, it is just gorgeous if you get a chance to see it.
keV if you come out of your hotel to the left then go first right that's where you will find all the bars, please don't stay in the villa Dorado,the staff are the rudest in salou,the food is horrible, trust me stayed in salou 4x and it's the worst hotel there is.
OMG YOU ACTUALLY WENT LET'S GO!! Loved this place when I went in May, but... I'm gonna be completely honest, there are better options if you don't plan to go to Portaventura at all.
The fountains are beautiful at night lights and music spent many hours walking we're you are walking love salou thanks for the memories

Went to La Pineada back in the 90's and enjoyed it. Went back in 2019 to salou and la Pineada and it just didn't do it for us.
