Not sure I understand the EV example, the woman that won $20k but then lost $20k same day broke even with session accounting would have no additional income, right? I thought you would saying you could net out the session on the first page of 1040?
I’m confused by this also, I have gambled allot online and have gotten the papers in the mail for it, however I’ve usually always lost all of my money, winnings from that day and additional money, stupidly. The taxes scare me bc on paper it looks like I’ve won but literally have not
