    Thanks for the video ❤
Try putting down ur soil enhancements from lower, as its mostly power, its easy to breath in some of them in. Even if its organic it will still affect ur respiratory organs if u breath in the stuff. Same goes with cleaning sprays u use in the house. So instead of spraying on to surfaces, u can spray on to sponge or microfiber cloth n then use the cloth to wipe down. Hope this helps. ❤

I wish I could properly express how nearly miraculous it is that you can take a little chunk of potato, plant it in dirt and it grows two, three, five, new, beautiful potatoes...from what? Dirt? Air? It's truly a work of God, like all His creation, we often take for granted. Enjoy your beautiful harvest.

Yes Kelsey. I'm in Hawaii, and so many people are sick here. It's a days long headache that turns a cough for weeks. It must be what they are spraying over us. I'm super health conscious, too. Eat fresh and all homemade. It's very different this year for sure.
Your harvest looked pretty great to me. Those potatoes looked amazing. What type did you plant? They look thin skinned which is my favorite. Thanks for another great video.

I loved watching you dig the potatoes. Sorry you’re not feeling well. I’m 82 and lots of my friends have been having illness on and off all this year and just can’t seem to kick it and have no explanation as to what it is. Several had been diagnosed with bronchitis, but they don’t think it’s that. I had a touch of it but was able to do ok the rest of the time. My prayers are with you. I’m in eastern PA. I just enjoy your channel so much. Love your little family and gardens. ❤

Soil & potato variety, good. Some refuse to store long term. Coming out Dry is the first storage hurdle. Keeping them Dry preserves the longest. Cd try diatomaceous earth+ absorbent newspaper balls or shreds. Store cool, dark, cover w/ air cloth. Do not air lock containers. Sometimes stored in heavy grocery bags 5-10 lbs at a time is better than a large bin. *I live in NE OH & immediately plant those tiny potatoes. Can often get Xmas harvest from them. Best Wishes.

Potatoes look good! Ours should be ready by the time we get back from PA, yes I get to see my beautiful mountains and camp in them too! Our grow time in Mn is almost over and with the flooding and heavy rains I am glad I didnt plant alot this year. We get about 110 grow days here in a good year so no second crops for us. I am looking forward to being able to do that again once back in PA! Blessings!

We live in New Zealand and our family including us all over the country have repeatedly got sick this year. One of my children's family have had pneumonia and viruses with two adults and two children. It is the same for friends and people we talk to. We eat out of our garden all year and have chickens etc.

I watched a you tube the other day and she did something new to me. She kept row cover over her bug magnet plants and from day to day she would hand pollinate. The plant she showed was a big zucchini plant that was pristine under cover. She didn’t mention it but I think you could probably control the number of zukes you get by only pollinating the number you want at a particular time. All available or partial. Also, the flowers were beautiful, if you like to stuff them.

My son was sick ALL the time with any and all viruses that was in the classroom. He had pneumonia at the age of 10, again going around the classroom. His friend had it twice and was hospitalized. We spent too much time at the urgent care! I started using a teaspoon full of coconut oil in my coffee every morning and noticed I quit catching all his sickness. So, I started him on coconut oil every morning, just a teaspoon full in a little hot chocolate. (He loved it, it tasted like a Mounds Hot Chocolate). He quit getting sick, we went almost 3 years without any sickness! I was even a lunch lady around kids all day, still no sickness! We got lazy, quit the coconut oil, and he gets mono from school, I got sick with it as well. Short story long...." Organic Unrefined " Coconut Oil, I buy mine at Aldi, for $5 a pint jar, pure GOLD! Blessings to all! Edit to add, we've had no pokes, never had c**id.

I have had an organic garden since 1980 which feeds my family and the childcare loves I have cared for since the 70's. I fully believe both have allowed me great health, as my immunities are constantly being boosted, I work long days, ten hours with the children and many hours growing and prepping food. I have had one sick day in all those years. Blessed in so many ways. I do take precautions. Sanitize surfaces before and after meals. Have children wash hand properly several times per day. Pre-soak all eating utensils in a bleach solution before washing, Every child has their own designated cup. I feel small measures add up to great results. Love you and your channel. Prayers for great health for all your family,

It’s so therapeutic to harvest potatoes or any root vegetable. You never know how many potatoes you’ll get. It’s also rather therapeutic to watch you as well. You’re so slow and methodical about it. Please don’t use a form or anything but your hands. Maybe your kids’ hands. But God gave you those tools first. Plus it’s so much fun!
I’m so sorry your family has the yuckahs again. We haven’t had anything going around here up Maine way. We keep raw unfiltered local honey in our daily diet plus we weekly detox. Maybe that’s why. Maybe it just isn’t up in Maine.
🙏🏼healing prayers for you and your family ❤

I agree that harvesting potatoes is like being on a treasure hunt. Sometimes you find treasure and other times not. I’m needing to amend some beds that when we first started a garden we filled with top soil 😮. I knew right away that was a mistake because of how the dirt was compacting. You mentioned mushroom dirt and I am curious if that is used for nutrients or for aiding the soil to break down or both?
Also, what nutrients were you using in the beds you planted the second round of potatoes in? Our potato harvest wasn’t to great. I believe the lack of loose soil didn’t help. I did fertilize the beds but maybe can do better with that as well.
Praying for a speedy recovery for your family and you friend. Have a blessed week.

This is a good thought. When I was looking into cheese caves there were hacks to convert fridges into a cave which requires temp and humidity regulation. As I recall there was a small piece of equipment that attached to the fridge that regulated. Maybe something to look into for cold storage.

We never got the J......, spend everyday outside working in the garden and free ranging the chickens and ducks. We are swamped at the moment with tomatoes and peppers so it's canning season every morning for us. Very little time going to the grocery store and never wore a face diaper. Our adult kids who got the J..... are always sick with a cold which seems like it's every few months. They also had to wear face diapers at work. I hope you feel better soon as I'm sure that's not pleasant when having young children and a garden to tend to. Rest up and keep growing. Yes, we have been cycling through strange illnesses without any obvious source. Makes me feel suspicious..

This is the first year I've planted potatoes. I planted them around late May or early June but my plants aren't dying back (Maryland location, zone 7b I believe) how do I know what they're doing?

@@EternallyLoved92 anytime 3 weeks after they have flowered you can start to harvest. Most likely will have small to medium potatoes, more for fresh eating than storage. If you wait until they have completely died back you’ll probably have bigger potatoes, thicker skin, better for storage. Totally up to you! If you’re feeling ansty, you can dig around a plant and see what you’re working with ☺️
