- In 2017, Day26 detailed how they came together as a group. They explained that they truly got to know each other on MTV's "Making The Band," explaining that they were the chosen five out of 45,000 contestants. Some of the group members admitted that signing to Diddy was a "dream come true" as they grew up watching the mogul and wanting to be signed to him. Day26 also talked about Diddy as a producer and music executive, comparing him to Berry Gordy. To hear their studio experiences with Diddy, check out the flashback clip above.

this interview is from 2017 when the guys were doing promo for their 10 year anniversary shows. DAY26 has since released an EP called A New Day, toured for that EP, celebrated their 15th anniversary & were on the millennium tour in 2022 & now have an album on the way & will be apart of the R&B Kickback Tour this year
