Hello Lex. Nice job. I completed remodel of rental home. Used glacier bay product throughout three bedroom home. Easy peasy :-) new mirrors-vanities-toilets, plumbing fixtures. There was slim picking during the out of stock electrical plumbing wood days a few months back. Everything went well and worked well. Appreciate all you do! Thank God you daughter is clear of Covid!
I'm like them a lot! Thank you so much for watching Breeze!
I just got my first ever maintenance job at a very high scale apartment complex!! Started today and gave me a $1500/month room for $200 and $23/hr!! The company is called The Sterling Group!! I'm sooooo happy and love the variety of work it involves everyday!! They have a grounds guy, trash guy, paint crew, so all I have to do is HVAC, work orders and make readys!! I love it...
Very lucky for my very first job to be such a nice place!! But in this day and age NOBODY wants to work so they didn't have to many options to chose from lol!! Everybody wants to stay home and draw Covid stimulus money and unemployment smh!! Ohh well I took advantage of it...
Wow, very nice gig you've found. So glad all worked out for you Trust Jesus!
@@LexVance gotta do just that lol... Trust Jesus!!
Just installed one today and had to come watch some videos because I was equally impressed with the well designed install components.
Right on Ozz! Thank you so much for watching!
You are AWESOME. You're my go to maintenance guy! So helpful and easy to understand step by step.
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching Jehan!
Thank you Lex for your rad approach. I plan to install a pull-down industrial kitchen faucet. Your video addressed potential sticking points, before approaching the job. Thank you for this tutorial.
Thank you so much for watching Monica!
Thanks. I just unboxed it and decided to look for a video.
Thank you so much for watching Gold!
I've dealt with glacier bay before. It's a good deal for what you get and looks nice...love that ridgid tool. Thanks for the idea I've had a good time using mine. Right tool for the job
Thank you so much for watching Ben!
Funny I just installed same make/model not too long ago. All our staff here on property ordered them and one didn't know how to install so I did it. Only thing hard about the install was the post covid dizzy spells I would get climbing in and out of that sink cabinet. But that recently cleared up too. Feeling strong now.
Great video. Thank you. My sink was loose but I tightened it and also realigned the weight which was hitting the tubing
Thank you so much for watching David!
Just installed a Glacier Bay faucet (pull-out) at home couple weeks ago too man. Tbh I love that snap-on and twist connect, makes things easier. Thumbs up
Awesome Trung! Thank you so much for watching!
I have to remove that quick Connect to put in a new sink and disconnect the srayer. How much of a pain in the a$$ is it to remove??
About that Glacier Bay, I think that's a HD house brand. They have very good warranties and parts supplies in my experience. Some of them lifetime. And they are cheap enough to just replace if they go bad. Sometimes HD will just send you a new one depending on the problem. As you can tell they made it very consumer friendly.
I'm liking them so far. Thank you so much for watching Sam!
I'm glad your daughter is well
Thank you John!
Thank you for the video you save me a lot money so the kitchen faucet was leaking and I called plumber he said this is a very complicated job and hard to install (the same make and model)
He told me he would do it for $180 and I was like wow! I told him doesn’t make any sense because is charging more than the faucet. He told me that good luck if you try to do it your self. And I’m so happy I did this was so easy 30 min job for $180 no thanks.
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching Jorge!
Great video! Plan to do my daughter's tomorrow. Thanks!!
You're welcome Bub! Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks Bro’suf!! Awesome job and explanation I’m about to tackle my GB faucet install as well and I was great seeing it all come together!
Thank you so much for watching David!
You are saving my life my friend, Thank you so much
You're welcome Lazaro! Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks for the video, Lex! Appreciate the thorough and lighthearted tutorial. Keeping it laid back with smarter not harder approach. No armchair quarterbacks need to chime in!

Dude you don't know how many surgeries that rigid tool has probably prevented for me rumbling under those sinks great repair
Good to hear from you Scorpio!
Arm chair quarterbacks skid!! Hilarious 😂🤣 cool video I’ve been on a property where we installed those
Right on Tank! Thank you so much for watching!
I couldn't get the fast mount to tighten down very well at all, but after visiting the Glacier Bay troubleshooting site, their instructions were more explicit than the paper installation that came with the product. You have to tighten the top part of the fastmount, not the main body. Now it doesn't wobble.
Right on! Thank you so much for watching Jim!
Very helpful just what I need to know thank you 🙏🏼
You're welcome Alejandro! Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you bronamath you really helped me
Right on Seth! Thank you so much for watching!

👍😆👍 Right on Mike! Thank you so much for watching!
I use GB all the time. Parts are easy to find and easy remove and installs
Right on! Good to hear from you Corey!
Glacier Bay is pretty decent brand. Not the best but not the worst, just gotta put in what the customer gives ya. You should check out the Ridgid One Stop Wrench to go with that faucet installer. It can help you out with those stubborn angle stop fittings and a few other things.
Right on BrokeDown! Thank you so much for watching!
Does the quick connecter goes connected with the pipe thats holding the weight small bar down with that small pipe?
Yes. Should hear it snap up there.
Great teaching moment
Thank you so much for watching Shawn!
Nice install Lex 👍👍👍

Thank you so much for watching Sergio!
Hello, what part is that for the water supply connection? I do not have that part and can't connect it to the water supply. Is is an adaptor?
A water supply line. Home Depot had them.
Your a legend my man lol
Thank you so much for watching Nyne!
Lex how often do you pour lead joints for cast iron nowadays? I'm talking Stevie Lav style
Never. I'll leave those jobs to the Steve Lavs of the world. 😆 I work newer properties so it's all PVC and PEX now days. Thank you so much for watching Jose!
The Home Depot online always has these on sale fyi great kitchen faucet!
Right on! Thank you so much for watching Danny!
Thanks. Somehow the bottom connector came loose on mine and I couldn't figure out how to re-tighten it. I had to pull the top piece up off the cuff, push it up to the underside of the counter, then had to finagle the rest of it (hard to do in a confined and awkward space) until it finally went up and over the threads to meet the top piece, and THEN if finally clicked at the top and I could hand tighten it down. But what a hassle. I'd prefer to have just screwed it all the way up the threads to tighten it the old-fashioned way. I shouldn't need to search out a video and then fuss with it for 10 minutes to do such a simple task.
Just making memories 🤣. Thank you so much for watching Tyler!
@@LexVance ohhh... in that case it was totally worth the extra time it took to fix it! 🤣
The panel hiding the holes is a little loose on the ends the instruction say silicone I am not sure if it goes around it like caulk or under it more like glue!
You can put a little bead of silicone around the base or plumbers putty under it and tighten it down.
What a hack!!! I woulda rebuilt the whole house from the wrecking ball !!!! 😋😋😋😋
👍😆👍 I literally get those comments daily from serious "super techs". 🤣
Good to hear from you Sam!
Hi there, we just installed this model, but the hot line is not flowing, what could be the reason ? Thank you
Blocked supply line or valve isn't working. I'd need to be there for this head scratcher 🤔.
@@LexVance thank you for answering so quick. We will try that. Appreciate it🙏🏿
Im new to the show so I was wondering what does Skid mean?
Lol I asked that same thing 😂 way back when. That's his slang for dude, bro, dawg, etc.
My uncle was a racecar driver and my cousin called him skid. Like skid marks on a racetrack. I always thought it was funny. So, instead of dude, I say skid. Thank you so much for watching Steve!
I have a glacier single faucet and the weight keep falling off each time I use the sprayer, help, why?
Set it where you like it and tighten the screws on it. That should hold it in place. Thank you so much for watching hellestine!
Installing the same one as I watch this video! #EggSalad
👍😆👍 Thank you so much for watching!
How do you switch from hot to cold
Reverse the water supply lines.
@@LexVance no just turning on the water how do I know where the hot and cold is
Yes. They send u free parts.
Right on! Thank you so much for watching Carnivore!
Do it Steve Lav style & break out the grinder with cutting wheel ... When in doubt cut it out mama! 🤣😂🤩
👍😆👍 I love that. Steve Lav don't play and will break out the grinder in a NY minute. 🤣 Good to hear from you Tim!
I had one the other day, the nut underneath was rusted in place luckily it was loose so I could sawzall it from the top. Never leave home without the sawzall 🤣 great video as always thanks for the info.
@@michaeltipton6335 Right on! Just making memories!
Cheap faucet is good faucet in apartments industry. Unless it is for the office kitchen lol
😆 good to hear from you Eimantas!
I just bought one, hasn't been installed yet.
Thank you so much for watching!
I followed your instruction and do not know why air keep coming out of the air hole from the faucet ? The air causing very irritating noise!
I'd need to be there for this head scratcher 🤔.
Quick connect info?...
This is an old video. I don't have any specs anymore. Thank you so much for watching!
I literally just ran into the same issue last week in a property
Right on! Good to hear from you Vetdad!
I love side jobs SKID
Good to hear from you 19rappy!
🎉
Thank you so much for watching!
No silicone? The instructions said it was required…
Silicone is good. The gasket plate that comes with it does a good job keeping water out. Silicone is great for a second line of defense if you want to throw a bead around the base. I've also used plumbers putty in the past. Thank you so much for watching Hollywood!
What's goin on Angelina Brolie?
👍😆👍
What's up man, do you ever have to install whole ac systems, condenser air handler etc at your property?
When it calls for it I've installed new condensers. Not air handlers as the places I work are still new.
Property I'm over was built in 65 lol, I want to work at a new property
You say "Egg Salad" I say "Old Tuna"!!!
👍😆👍 Thank you so much for watching Hector!
You could have saved a lot of time and a faucet by just replacing the sprayer diverter.
Right on. The resident chose to get a new faucet. Thank you so much for watching Bruce!
ID RATHER HAVE CHICKEN SALAD !!
👍😆👍 Thank you so much for watching Edward!
This ain’t a maintenance man. Where the hell is your carhart and service patches
👍😆👍 So true. Thank you so much for watching St C!
That thing is a piece of crap!
Oh no! 😭 I hope I picked a diamond in the rough. 😆 Thank you so much for watching Chris!
@@LexVance Hahaha no I don't know if it's crap or not, you said "People are probably gonna say this thing is a piece of crap" so I said that it's a piece of crap! 🤣 Hey buddy I'm here for the knowledge!
👍😆👍
