This is such a long rant to overall say: "Skill issue" and "I can't have fun with competitive games" While simultaneously making points that counter each other in the same video... Truly incredible writing.
Nah I actively acknowledge that brawl is ass. Been diamond since season 3 back in like 2018 and current peak elo is like 2400. Now what makes it ass, I prolly just played it too much 😭
imo the game should not be complex based on the amount of moves there are but the game should be complex based on what you can do with the moves. Brawlhalla has an insane amount of complexity that you just haven't realized yet (you're in mid silver) also, the point where you say that training in a video game is silly is kind of dumb because, if you want to get good at anything you have to put in time and at least some effort if you want to get good at anything. I agree that videogames are meant for fun but in a competitive game like Brawlhalla you have to put in time if you want to win. I understand that Brawlhalla is not for everyone but that doesn't mean that you have to go on a 7 minute rant stating that Brawlhalla is trash just because you are bad at it and acting like Brawlhalla being bad is the objective truth. edit: i have super smash bros and i have more fighting game experience than just brawlhalla
Brawlhalla is a tilting game, for sure. Its unbalanced too, but it's quite original. Everyone has their own playstyle and there are over 50 legends to choose from. There are multiple weapons and endless combinations for each legend and unique signature attacks, you can perform multiple combos and strings and even make up your own strings you can absue. Brawlhalla is a beautiful game made by creative people and it has gathered a bunch of fans over the years, so in conclusion, brawl fucking sucks, delete mordex and scythe.
@@raphmula brother, have you ever even seen what the community on reddit is? Feast your eyes on complaints on how lokis hitboxes are and how bow is too broken and tezca kills too early and this sigs are broken and this are awful and more. If it were balanced enough, no changes would be made to any weapon or character. Or at least not as many.
@@retruecanowhile I agree that some of the legends are broken right now, I also know that in a fighting game community people will complain about Everything. Anything they can blame their losing on. I’m guilty of this too. Frustration gets to us, or at least me. Also they keep changing the weapons to keep the game feeling fresh. It forces the top pro players to adapt to a new weapon when their weapon is merged to the ground. I do wish they wouldn’t make some of the weapons so powerful, but I have to agree that changing them up does good for the brawlhalla community. At least the players that have been playing the game for years and years
1:30 if you want a game that gives you a breath of fresh air then play a single player game. Every online game has sweats. Also comparing this game to tekken is crazy
i think your playing against sweats because your playing ranked, try to play experimental to find less sweaty people also try to reach platinum before saying people are sweaty...
You need to practice dash jumping. Once you learn to move around the map fast you’ll get how fun it and satisfying it is. Press dash then jump then drag down all right after eachother in tandem and you’ll be zoomin
bro is talking about only sweats when he compare it with street fighter 6, and the 6 move thing its a skill issue, you are creative in this game with normal combos and shit, tell me you are a sig spammer without telling me you are a sig spammer
If I want to vive my experience with Brawlhalla, I don't find the gameplay interesting enough, most characters have the same weapons and it doesn't have a lot of variety (keep in mind I've not touched the game in years)
I see where you're coming from saying how there are quite a bit of committed players in the game and your point is valid because of how long the game has been out. Brawlhalla is a good game though because of the satisfaction you get from hitting long combo's, reads and hitting clips. Honestly, you don't need like 100 hours to be good at the game. All I can suggest for you to actually an enjoyable time is to pick a legend to main and learn a couple ( Not all ) combos on their weapons. During your gameplay, I saw how you didn't know any true combos; and having those in mind will help you not get knocked around like a ragdoll. Leave the dodge reads until you change your mind. Overall, we good 👍. ( I know someone gon pull up and say: "I ain't reading all dat" )
@lil_grim_reaper2995 i appreciate the honesty and respect bruh. ngl tho i choose not to learn the true combos cuz it’s gets mad predictable to others down the line
I got way too much time on my hands so ima go bit by bit here. (I understand if no one's gonna read allat, so here's a tl;dr. You aren't very good at the game and know very little about what's in it. From character lore to game mechanics and game mode(s). Also, I may not say something because someone else already has. Another also, here's a great quote I just made "if you just took a second to look for what you want in the game and not what you want to be mad about you'd learn this stuff") 0:57 As you stated later on, there is in fact other game modes, so I won't mention that. However there is experimental. Sure you may find someone that's trying really hard for what ever reason, but there's nothing on the line. Even if that person is sweating and probably being a little toxic, there's no reason for YOU to do that. Sit back and not take the game seriously, just try to do funny stuff. If that's still a little difficult then do weekly and daily missions. You don't even gotta buy the battle pass to have fun doing that, you may even find a new character you like or learn a combo that's fun or funny to hit. 1:32 Sir, you already stated this yourself, but you play almost exclusively ranked. You can't go into a competitive game mode and NOT expect people to be competitive. 2:29 Honestly agree that this game best shines when you're just goofing around with friends. However if you're so much worse off then your friends then that can impact how much fun everyone has. 1: They're constantly going easy on you and sometimes you may not even be able to play because they wiped the floor with you. 2: if everyone at least has a decent understanding of the core mechanics of the game then you goofing off and trying to hit funny combos on each other becomes that much more fun/easier. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone (myself included), but it did obviously affect your friends to the point they told you to get good. 3:02 won't deny that at face value everything is very simplistic, but in that simplicity skill can bring complexity. Ever try to do a reverse slide charged sig? Ever try to X pivot? Ever try to throw your weapon up, use recovery to hit your opponent into the weapon, then unarmed GC dlight>Ground pound? Have you ever hit a combo that normally shouldn't work because your a demon at reading people? No? Exactly. Either because you don't know what half this stuff is or you do know but haven't been able to pull them off. Once you get the hang of it, reverse slide charged sigs, and X pivots are pretty easy, but once you're first learning and try to hit it on a person rather than a bot then OH MY GOD is it hard. 4:55 While it doesn't have a story mode yet, it is being worked on (at least according to 1 reddit post I saw like a year back). Btw, there is in fact already established story. Obviously Brawlhalla is a fighting game, but if you just took a second to look for what you want in the game and not what you want to be mad about you'd learn this stuff. Just go to the "Meet The Legends" tab and learn about the character you play. This goes for A LOT of people btw. Admittedly there is some pretty boring lore like Thea's, but did you know that Onyx (the gargoyle) and Mako (the shark) are female? Not only is mako a girl, but thatch (the pirate) screwed the sea and that's how she was conceived. Some characters have started a band together, have deep friendships, and have deep hatred's to another. There's quite a bit of substance there. 5:19 I know I'm being rude here, but it's the truth. Part of the reason you can't have fun editing is because you're REALLY bad at the game. Even if it's just for commentary, people want to see someone skilled in a game that requires skill. Look at lordwhitewolf and Planet Micro. Their entire thing is making funny commentary and funny edits while playing brawlhalla, part of their sucess is because of their humor and skill iin editing, but their editing goes hand in hand with their ability to play. Now I get it, they gotta add outside input to make the content interesting, so let's look at the brawlhalla tourney's. I won't lie, like 20%/25% of people that watch the brawlhalla live streams are in it for the rewards, but the other 70%/75% are watching for the entertainment in seeing skilled players in the game they that love. When there's a tourney there's at least 4 or 5k people o more watching the stream. Edit: I forgot "o" in "pound"
