  • The power of artificial intelligence can easily be weaponized to stoke the flames of disinformation - particularly during the lead-up to the U.S. presidential election. Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes is worried about the spike in AI-generated campaign content. He joins the show to share how he's warning election officials to guard against fraud. This conversation is part of the The WNET Group’s series "Take on Fake," which analyzes fake or altered video, images and audio to debunk the viral spread of misinformation and get to the truth.

    Great to see that our election officials are taking precautions to keep our elections fair and free and are not intimidated by those that want to undermine trust in our electoral process.

    The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance. It's obvious we are neck dip on inflation,it is always the poor who take the hit. I think it's time to hit the digital market where they have no influence.

      I feel sympathy and empathy for our country, low income earners are suffering to survive, imagine investing $30,000 and receiving $95,460 after 28 days of trading unlike others. I so much appreciate my broker agent, she's helping my family with her guidelines a lot.

      Individuals are still hodling germs and stocks? I didn't know that, I guess a few know about integrating into the micro economy to help substitute FIAT or usdt for a more tangible exchange Experience, it more like capitalization with about 43.307% profits/ ROI weekly though.. ps.. Caroline Maria Bravo, got me covered thanks.

      I'd advise you to be more innovative and venture into opportunities, it's no longer a story that the world is experiencing a global economic downturn but a harsh reality, so create different sources of income, have passive investment and most importantly seek God's grace.

    I do devoutly hope that A.I. for the reason demonstrated in this video and for many other reasons, renders the internet completely unusable for any serious work and transactions, such that we must return to the old ways of doing things: major broadcast media, words printed on paper (newspapers, magazines, letters, mail order catalogs, real books, etc.; and, even, whistle stop in person political campaigning), letting the internet return to the free for all wild west that it originally was. (I expected this would someday happen--i.e., that technology would result in its own destruction as a reliable and secure source of information--and it looks like I may soon be proved correct. What took so long?)

      Man, I have to agree with Willard. I don't care if there still is SOME good things in Internet. Most of it is JUNK and dangerous misinformation. Let's get rid of the Internet!!

      Good point. As we realize that we can't trust our eyes with most content, we'll be forced to design new paths and ways to corroborate reports into information we can trust. Regulating the snot out of Big Tech, as the EU does, will help to control the madness.

    You don't think they were used in the 2016 election? I think what was called Russian troll farms wasn't remotely human. I also feel that the hyper wealthy have a 10 to 15 year head start on knowledge that society should be made aware of.

    • @lukeyznaga7627
      @lukeyznaga7627 3 месяца назад +1

      Money_Facer is correct. We forget that the very rich have access to MANY things we can't have. And that is evil and a shame. I once saw on a TV show, a tour of a rich family 's house. Dudes...you would not believe the tech they had, even for small household devices up to high tech security devices inside house. They even had high tech MEDS for their kids that we can never have!

      Let's keep in mind that PACs are what aggregate wealth into behemoths of wealth. At the same time, pretty much anyone can make a video like that today. The commoditization of AI puts incessant falsehoods in the hands of every "basement dwelling" home propagandist.
