This trend in Chinese series is that a independent and strong female character must be down play for a man to save her which is ridiculous because a female character can be independent, strong and feminine at the same time. Down playing female characters for the male lead to save isn’t wise.
Love the way he handles his embarrassment when he realize where she took him to ask the parents. A nice sweet romance without the permanent fighting. 😂😂❤❤❤
I absolutely love this!!! It was so good. I loved the ending so much. I laughed so much!! LOL. I do wish it was longer and had more of the ML and FL having more of a love affair, but I really liked this one.

unlike everyone else, ❤ I loved this version ❤ fl was extremely intelligent as a doctor and especially as a jewelry gen mgr; learning everything she needed to know before the meeting and successfully planning exactly what was needed. it took being knocked out to prevent her defending herself well (with pins). the story between beautiful fl and attractive ml was perfect; esp the ending lovemaking scene. and yes, I'm pretty sure the brothers whupped him. it's a thing 😂

I feel kinda sorry for the adopted Shen daughter... She's right to feel uncomfortable with the changes in her family situation, but she jumps to conclusions too quickly and makes bad decisions because she's selfish and immature. Edited to add: Plus she was doing some shady stuff with the family money, so take away the immature and add greedy... lol
Nah. That girl was stealing money from the companies she had been put in charge of. That's not just something a stupid and immature person does, that's calculated and illegal as hell. That was her "families* money and life right there.

Her reaction to the family's acceptance of the lost daughter did seem to be legit, but after watching the whole thing it seems her reaction was also because she knew the family would be less accepting of her criminal behaviours ... it seems the brother was already tracking her anyway and was probably going to send her away at some point, despite him thinking of her as his real sister. The FL being a genius manager just made it happen faster. I never thought she was stupid, though. It's possible to be smart and calculating, but also emotionally immature. And to be fair it was cool to have a "found" sister who wasn't explicitly gunning for the FL on an emotional level so much as she was protecting her "investment" ... lol
I don't feel sorry for her at all. She began stealing from her adoptive family way before the arrival of the real daughter. Her stealing had nothing to do with jealousy or insecurity once the real daughter came. It began much before due to her greed.
I've watched more than five versions of this 'adopted daughter who was kicked out was the richest young lady in town' script. So I can say with confidence that this is the worst version. They casually throw in "the rich jerk" ML and it didn't even fit properly with the stortline. It was obviously to just increase the drama. So this version is basically a 'soup pot' of all the cliche tropes. 😅
