We are a core group of 4 players based in the North East of England. We all love Horus Heresy gaming and want to promote the system aswell as the fantastic community we have in the area.

I have to admit, I like the no artificer armor house rule. It gets kinda silly when one guy can eat something like 20 Lightning Claw attacks if you roll really well.

Ah, as a connoisseur of worldly cuisine myself, I must say that no delivery mechanism for many melee infantry is never going to work 😅.

Great battle report, team, but I did want to point out at 29:25 that the Berserker Assault Rite of War gives +2 to your charge rolls as well, so that was a successful 7" charge with the 5 on the dice 😕

Loved this! Was rooting for the Night lords! The only issue I see with NL (my boys!) is they’re great against infantry but not as great against armour and elite typically. But this is the kind of game I’d love to play!

Only one Heavy Support slot is kind of annoying but there are ways to optimize it

They can be good against armour if you take pairs of laser rapiers. Not necessarily the ideal, but works better for NL than everyone else

Againt armour i find NL very good against it with buffed rapiers, heavy weapons and tank squadrons making our stuff stronger. I really struggle against 2+ armour save infantry tho -Ed
