Niall Gavin is referencing the infamous episode of Game grumps playing jeopardy where they spun like 8 bankrupts and lose a turns in a row. The entire episode was just them being unable to play.

I am not familiar with Game Grumps to well. What happened?
Game Grumps played wheel of fortune and proceeded to insult devil incarnate Vanna White and continued going bankrupt and lose a turn. They made a joke that the wheel was weighted which is what’s happening to Jeremy and Gavin.
So Jack is Caiti and Gav and Jeremy are Trevor and Alfredo
When I saw the title I thought "but Gavin always goes bankrupt!" Then this happened lol
My God I'm in game design in high school some of the unity sample projects are more well made than this and one of them was pulled from a game jam and made in a couple of hours
Hell you could make any of those games in a couple of hours and it'll be better than this

I'm pretty sure the spin mechanic actually is weighted. If you max it out you have a higher chance of missing your turn. Jack was releasing early the whole game and did the best.

At 15:40 the spinner goes past bankrupt in the wide shot but when it cuts in to show what Jeremy landed on it had gone backwards just to give him bankrupt. The game was actively giving Jack free turns
