The thing is that most of these memes aren’t funny just on their own like that. They need to be seen in context, like if someone comments or tweets something and then puts a meme that fits with it, then it’s funny lol

I also think some of them are better if you understand what they're saying.
You forget, memes never have context, that is what makes them beautiful. The problem is their watching the old ones, the classics. REAL MEMES are on a whole new level of autism.
Some of them also only work with translations or they’re related to a piece of media you have to know beforehand like the weekend song. Otherwise it’ll fall flat

Compilation videos that are usually called "iconic vines" (EDIT: "Clean vines you can show your grandparents" is hella funny and also sfw) or something generally have the best and most iconic meme videos!
