I ADORE how they had Masayoshi Oishi to sing all of the OP's so they could combine. Thematically flawless. Also that hug between Yume & Yogami is definitely my favourite part of the film. Their relationship is so understated and wholesome. It's subtle but perfect.
I love moments like this. The badguys turned good and allies all around join the hero in one big final brawl to save the day. It's a day made for heroes of every kind.
Other people: Complains that the villain always wait for the MC / MC's robot to transform* Gridman: Hold my be--. Actually, I'll just transform mid-attack right..about...now. 😆
There's something very appropriate about the timing of the lyrics to "Union" when "This is not a drill!" happens as Kaiser Gridman is about to perform his finishing move.
@@chr1s415 I have no idea. The only statement made on the film was at a later convention after AX, trigger staff briefly mentioned that the film was coming to theaters soon. It’s been a year since and nothing. So yeah, they lied on that bit. I’m assuming BluRay/DVD with English subtitles is even farther down the line. You can own it in JP but that’s about it

the first opening of ssss gridman was actually sang by OxT the same people who sang the overlord openings, but everything after that is Masayoshi
