@@ikeschrager9903 Just wait til you've learned how to properly bank-turn and use the VTOL spin trick. I for one have always favored the Hydra for grinding and a bit of dogfighting just because it's VTOL capability can out flank a conventional jet. But the Raiju can make insane turns that were never possible before. Between yesterday and today, 6 Lazers, 4 Pyros 1 Starling and 3 outta 6 other Raijus. Only 3 Raijus and, surprisingly enough, a B11 downed me. It's slow speed and very tight turns made it surprisingly difficult to get behind Lol

Yes exactly! I actually find the B11 harder to beat, Raiju just has more armor, VTol, and stealth, but when actual dogfighting, the B11 is still more tough for me. I can keep up more with the Raiju.
the raiju got a slight nerf in the armor depaerment. i personally main the rouge with e-rounds installed so i dont really worry about the armor. what ive learned tho is the plane itself is very durable. however, the control surfaces arent. just keep that in mind when your fighting one. if you concentrate fire on its tail it wont be in the air for much longer
The hydra or lazar would have been blown up with all the shots you’re landing. Have you found it hard to win against the F-160 just through blowing up the jet via bullet volume? - it seems like pilot sniping is the most effective method of killing this jet.
I literally had a over 10 minute dogfight with one landing shot after shot and missing alot of course but managed to stay behind until he gave up and flew away . I did manage to snipe him after tho 🤣. He did kill me twice but only crashing on me during merge since it has alot of armor, that was the only way he could beat me.

Buuuut, that's been in the game for years now...the Akula... It does that. Besides, yeah you're in stealth, but you also have no weapons in stealth and the Raiju has no countermeasures at all. Unlike the vast majority of other aircraft have. So it's not broken. It's a 5th gen fighter jet dude. Stealth is a real thing. And it has the weakest missiles and ex guns too. So it's pretty balanced overall.

I used the vtol mode to hide behind buildings and used the stealth to get behind other plane. Ppl get scared when I hit them once and they jump out of their plane. Dogfights are broken, stealth has only been in helicopters, bombers, and gliders not jets. Yes I know but this is not balanced.
@@HollowPoint805 vtol can dodge missiles, stealth and vtol can let you hide behind buildings, chrome makes you basically invisible on Xbox, the hover takes only seconds to switch into normal mode, the guns are weak but again ppl jump out immediately
I agree, even cannons like the Rogue would be nice, but then I wont be able to Pilot Snipe so its a 50 -50 for me. Should be an option tho. If the Lazer, Rogue,B11 and Raiju can have explosive style cannons, why cant the other fighter planes have them as well as an option.

Something i like doing with these raijus since i use a sterling and they can’t really outurn that thing but anyway if they cant get behind me they try the vtol crash thing and if that happens I just slow down and spam missiles Dosent work every time but i have gotten 1 or 2 hits on them before they go stealth and run away
Yes, it's easier to beat the Raiju in freemode, when dogfighting with only cannons its fun trying to snipe them but it can be a pain and take a long time if they are good Pilots. The way the Vtol works in the Raiju makes it very deadly if used correctly
It really depends on the Pilot and me and my buddy were trying out the aircraft when it first came out. Not dogfighting but how it turns. Its like any other jet just more armored and faster but it can be beaten. Its not Optimal. A pilot snipe is the fastest way without using homing missiles. It is more deadly if you know how to use the VTOL to your advantage but in freemode watch out for homing missiles.
It is surprising to see how well the f160 keeps up with the pyro in terms of turning radius

Do you play on PC or console? Physics are different on PC and it’s way easier 0:22 do this on PlayStation and you’ll hit the ground and explode

Starlings and Pyros need an armor-piercing ammo upgrade to restore some balance, or the Raigu armor get a slight downgrade. The F-160 is way OP

Any plane or jet that just has the standard machine gun is useless against the raiju because it is basically immune to normal bullets
I had full armor on my raiju and my friend got me smoking with the starling fairly quick. Im not sure why but it smoked after just a few hits.
Then you need to learn how to hit the pilot. So....yeah you're fked. In dogfights it is better to use the b11 against it
The cockpit isn't as immune to the mg rounds. The starling is my primary jet. It still dominates imo 🤷🏾♂️
