I absolutely LIKE Nathalie Stutzmann! Her voice is so unique and i always recognize it! She's my favourite contralto singer ever! Nathalie's voice is so strong (sometimes even stronger than a male tenor) and dark but soft and "natural" both. I like countertenors too (especially P. Jaroussky, he was wonderful in the duet with Nathalie), but female contraltos is number one for me. I am so glad that Stutzmann's career is going uphill!))

Close your eyes and you could be listening to Franco Fagioli. Both singers are great though.
Why on earth should I want to imagine I'm listening to Fagioli whilst listening to Nathalie Stutzmann? The natural voice of the female contralto is much better than the head voice / falsetto of any countertenor.
