It's a beautiful song and I like her version but She didn't write it, she sampled it from Desiree and Beyonce didn't adhere to the restrictions and that's why she had to remove it from her album. Beyonce had to pay a settlement.
Too bad she didn’t. Beyoncé is great, but this version pales in comparison. Vocally, she’s a better singer, but the emotion is nowhere near as potent as Des’ree’s original version.
