How did u remove the adhesive?

I cut some of it off being careful not to get the paint. I also used rubbing alcohol. I got most of it but there was still some on there I couldn’t get off.

I got the rabbit third brake light but I can’t get it on it looks like it doesn’t fit

Mine had a rubber gasket around it and I had to peal most of it off to get it to fit
