MX-5 2016 (soft top) please! Great channel, just subscribed.
how do they make these new 2 liter turbo engines faster than 3.5-3.7 atmo ones?
99a21 They use turbos. Even twin turbos like in the T5
Remember the days when T5 was meant to be... a 5 cylinder engine? ... why would they decrease the engine capacity and cut one cylinder when they could develop a 2.0 5 cylinder...
bombix , they made a 2.0 diesel with 5 cyl
Yeah but still a diesel, not that high rev as a good petrol engine :(
unknown a modern 2.0t 5 cylinder is not efficient
and i have the V40 T5 with the true 5 cylinder :)
european ecology bullshit
Sorry if this is obvious to others but what's the deal with the 2 different displays for each test?
Glenn Patrick 1st attempt they use Drive mode, with "elegance" themed dials, 2nd attempt they use sport mode and the "performance" dials
Has that V40 Polestar Performance Package?
DSG Auto it has the tune atleast, they are 245hp stock
Awful clocks. Why reinvent what is perfect?
Anyways, this is one of the greatest channels on youtube. Keep it up.
+MaslAlek Thnx! :)
Best measure the 0-100-200kmh
What amazes me more than this.. 0-100 in 6.5s is of course pretty fast, no doubt.
However, I drive a V50 DriveE D2. This is a measly 4 cylinder 1.6l diesel engine on a 1500kg car. And still it does 0-100 under 10s.
When I was a kid, any car coming in under 10s was considered fast. And here this lousy 4 cylinder diesel does it.
I got this car specifically because of the acceleration, I never thought an i4 would do so well. I remember in fast and furious when they asked for a 10s car, in my kid mind I was like, wow, that must be FAST like a supercar or something lol
Volvo has fucked up their numbering system, it should be a T4 not T5, and their term T8 which implies a Turbo 8 cylinder but is actually a 4 pot hybrid should be called a H4.. Bigs it up more even though it's still a dull 4 pot!
I agree 100%
