I miss kayfabe. There was a story of Mr. Wonderful Paul Ondroff. This kid asked autograph from him but Paul acted cocky in front everyone . He approached that kid once everyone left and said : Kid don’t tell anyone that I signed autograph cause they thinks I’m the bad guy
They're props, homie. Whoever needs the title has the title. That's the way wrestling works. If he didn't have the titles he wouldn't be this "star" everyone claims he is. He even needs Paul Heyman to keep him over.

The one thing I love most here is how this interview could totally be in character if you wanna take it that way. Like the Head of The Table, reserving himself and trying to do a polite interview. He doesn't expose kayfabe at all. I love how after addressing the Rock the first name he brings up and puts over is Sami Zayn. That's says alot. Then he goes deep on detail on why people really latched onto Cody Rhodes. Then jokes "I'd smack all of them" but you know the Tribal Chief would. Then all the talk about catchphrases leads perfectly into Roman being confident about being Kevin and mouthing along to "Wake up, Kevin"

Who would have thought even 5 years ago that Roman Reigns would have as much charisma and personality away from Wrestling like the Rock has. He's elite now.
He has everything in ring and out except the mic skills. He has added dimension to his character and gotten better at talking/cutting promos but the best on the mic never needed to be taught it came naturally. I'm not saying wrestlers can't be taught and improve but saying he's on the Rock's level is crazy. He's improved but will never reach Rock, Austin, Flair, or Dusty levels and TBH he doesn't have to I wish people would accept that. He's improved but will never be great (on the mic).
