I stacked a folder image, came out great, thanks to you. Now I would like to try folder monitor camera on a new image, but I can't figure out how to clear the old images down/or open a new set of images. Help please! I can't find a reference anywhere.
Thank you! Very well done! ? When you are making adjustments to the histograms during stacking what ends up in the final image? In other words once you’ve settled on settings that you like in Display does it incorporate those settings in ALL the frames or just the frames that were processed once you settled? Does it go back and adjust those early frames? Thx again!!
Thank you, I'm kind of novice at the use of sharpcap pro, I live at high polluted light city, like the most, and my mount has not a go to system, so it Is very hard to find fainth objects, with this información I'll tope to be lees dificult. Thank you again and keep it up!!. Grettings from México!!.
Great vid . I've been struggling with the histogram also. Will the same apply if I'm using sharpcap only? Also any tips for a colour cam? I also struggle with getting the channels lined up. Thx.
Hi, it's very useful. Do I ask something? I am a novice in the astronomy. To do SharpCap live stacking using Canon EOS R with a lens, what driver do I have to install? It seems that SharpCap 3.2 does not recognize EOS R automatically when I connect with a cable directly.
Ive got a 10 second capture video of jupiter through my svbony 305 through my 16" goto dob, wasnt paying attention to what format i recorded it in, says its avi, i can browse and find it but nothing happens when i try to open it in folder monitor cemera screen in sharpcap, did i need to record it in a different format? frustrating really computer unsavvy, thanks for video,
Is this working with RAW files for you? I've tried but it doesn't stack them... Here's what I am doing: 1. I have just a DSLR with a 90mm lense, watching the sky from the city center. I don't even have a filter. So I see nothing apart from 10 stars. 2. Processing the image later, I can see way more. So I was thinking to do live stacking in order to get some of the visual obserability back. 3. I am using Raspberry Pie, which is connected to my Canon 550D via USB. It is connected to my home WIFI and I am controlling it from my room's PC. 4. From my room, I run a script which uses gphoto2 in RPi, with my settings. It capture photos and sends them on the fly to my Windows PC, in a specific folder. 5. SharpCap is monitoring this folder and I can use it for stacking, but it doesn't work with RAW files from my DSLR ...

Any chance you can do a bahtinov focusing video using sharpcap? Your channel has helped me immensely. Thank you!
That is cool, I didn't know you can do that with Sharpcap. Thanks for sharing

Unfortunately, Sharpcap doesn’t work with RAW files. However, DeepSky Stacker Live does, and should work much the same way. Check it out.
