Love it, I thought writing in notebooks was the thing for me until I realized that I was typing up 2000-2500 more words daily on a computer. It's whatever style fits best for you. Another tip is to be comfortable, find a spot where you can really dive deep into writing. I've found that sitting in wooden chairs at a table doesn't help me as much as sitting in a nice soft chair or a sofa.

I have a day-journal, or diary, that is strictly about my life.
Then i have recently decided to get a notebook for my writing as i had previously only used loose papers for story-notes.

Now do you actually write in all your notebooks or do you use notepads?

Hey Christopher. I heard that you hold the title for the youngest successful author. And now I declare war. I want to claim that title. Btw your book uses what I would like to call 'a complex base'. You use difficult words and that makes you sound smart and like you're an actual good author (which you are). However, I've decided to use simple language for my book. And it has a fantastic plot. Not of fantasy, but of fictional history and glorious sci- fi. It has school children going on a field trip, noticing weird stuff happening. It's going to be great. So I challenge you. I'm a 14 year old and ive been writing this book since the age of thirteen.
