Great vid. I remember the station in the years after closure in 1964. The buildings and trackwork survived pretty much intact until at least the late 70's, with freight trains still running through from the Synthite works just outside Mold. These days you've got to hunt for clues that the station ever existed! Thanks for posting this.
I drive through here everyday, and sometimes along the old track bed/car park access road, if the main road is too busy. It’s amazing what is still to be found of the old railway infrastructure, from all those years ago.

Thanks glad you enjoyed it. It's a shame that all this history has gone now. It's surprising how quickly it all disappears even in just 40 years

Yes there is still quite a lot left there despite all the redevelopment
Good film ! there is a bit you can walk along starting by Lidl towards synthite mate, not much to see but you can feel the balast under your feet ;-)
Thanks Rob. I've never been down that bit of trackbed didn't realise you could get as far Synthite

My wife's best friends father was the last station master there............................
Bet he had lots of stories he could tell about the station and the branch line
