Noblemen 1896 with only Jackson’s militia. Main episode 17

  • A lot of people have told me that Jackson’s militia is really good but I have never found much use for it as cavalry is really good at combat and has less supply cost, anti armor units are cheaper and artillery units deal way more damage against buildings so now I will play through the game again while only using Jackson’s militia. In order to not make it too easy I will also use a bunch of other restrictions as with the right armor and officers it is possible to win with minimal unit involvement so I will also not use armor, not use officers, not use tech points, not use the cards landowner and farmlands as those are way too op, I will always play on hard mode and not repair classes within a campaign map. I am allowed to use my starting army for defensive battles but I am not allowed to move it. Cards that spawn other unit types are also banned (so no airship decap shenanigans) but building cards are allowed.
    The Tesla cutter used to be the best gun and even after the nerf it seems like it still is. Having a scout ship spawn in range of the hq on the first turn while the hq cannot attack back is really bad but I got a lucky scuttle card and the enemy didn’t move their armies in an ideal way so this ended up being easier than the previous maps.
