The reason your ride heigh is different is due to the difference in weight on the different corners of the car, the car isn't perfectly balanced due to the car not being perfectly symmetrical component wise (such as the evap canister only being on one side or how the driver side has the steering shaft while the passenger doesn't). Just like when they corner balance track cars the ride height will differ from corner to corner due to weight differences and it has to be like that for all wheels to have the same weight on them, in order to fix it you just need to measure your height from ground to fender or fender to lip and adjust from there to get them the same, that's what I had to do on my 2011 sti. There isn't anything wrong with the car its just the way the weight is not distributed equally over all corners.

@@Fa5Ryan Good point I’m talking from a coilovers perspective and just offering advice as I had that issue just with coilovers. It still might be a similar concept with bags as they just replace the spring but I can’t really speak on that. I’d still say adjust them individually measuring from fender to wheel lip or any other way to get both sides even as I don’t see that affecting drivability or doing any harm but will get both sides even.
The WRX exhaust has no resonator in the middle. The STI does. Love your vids bro !

I know for coilovers, that issue youre talking about the rear is sometimes related to preload. Idk if you set preload on airbags, but even mine on coils is slightly uneven. I think it might have to do with there being more weight on the drivers side for majority of the time, so the suspension settles different vs the passenger side?? Idk. I gave up on trying to fix it😂
I heard the weight balance isn’t good with these cars but never knew it would make such a big difference in ride height 😅

100% get TE’s. I’m kind of a broke boy atm so I’m rocking my old TE reps. At least they’re not shitty lookin TE reps like some crusty ass Rota/XXR’s 😂 but at 18x9.5 +22, it’s deadass perfect for the VA. When I trade in my VA WRX later this year for a 2020+ STI, I wanna get bags and some proper non broke boy spec rep wheels. Also, if you get white TE37’s pls do the white/clear taillight lens mod!!

The actual threads on the bag struts probably has to be adjusted to compensate for the weight distribution around the car.
Also for content purposes, I think you should switch it up from doing white TEs. We seen the setup a lot from your other cars. I just think something new would be more interesting to watch.
Team TE37 but track spec. I wouldn't go any wider than 9.5 and I wouldn't stretch the tires.

i just ordered a pair of te's for my e36 18x10.5 + 20 front . just have to decide what to do for the rear since the 18x12 te faces dont look as agressive (from what i see). have to find someone with em in person .
the WRX stock exhaust isnt the same lol, the STI has a big resonator in the middle, so you basically like running a resonator delete.

yeah please figure out what makes the rear suspension uneven. I'm maxed out in the rears but run the same situation as you on coilovers for some reason.

Not sure but I had the same issue with my ride height as well on a brz but for me when I hit a pothole it pulled my fender out a bit, seems like a simple issue but i always overlooked it.

The uneven ride height in rear may be due to the gas tank? maybe trying measuring when u have a full tank n when you’re low to see if that can cause it 🤷🏽♂️

Yall it was this video driver side sit 3 inch in rear and passenger side 3 1/2 inchs u do have something going on there if not the rear subframe assembly maybe a bad part ,bushing or rubber 🤔🤔😎😎

Te, my subi sits uneven also. Its a 2011 wagon , ride is horrible and has always sat crooked even after all brand new coils & struts. I think they are just cheap 4wd cars honestly
