Hello, the dimensions of the wooden strips depend on various factors. They are not only determined by the type of solid wood used, but also by the unique characteristics and structure of each wooden board carefully selected by us for manufacturing 💪
What type of wood was used for this video?
To handcraft our platforms we only use first quality solid woods, in this case you can see our European Oak wood 💪

Yes! that was a prototype that worked fine, but we’re working on a bracket more solid but more compact for the one who has a low ceiling 💪

What did you use to seal it?
We use bicomponent polyurethane paint with catalyst to isolate our platforms as the first hand. The advice is to not use normal vinyl glue for gluing the solid wood 😄
Crazy how this platform is basically a bunch of 2x6's glued together. Simple, yet effective.
It all depends on the grain of the chosen wood. The solid wood moves in the decades, it's absolutely important before gluing to check the direction of the veins (it's different if the material in use is plywood or MDF)

Hello, thank you so much! We glue the wood strips with a bicomponent epoxy resin that fix them together like a welding, making the platform definitely firm as rock 💪
