A very dynamic duet between Aida, Princess of Ethiopia, enslaved in Egypt and her father, Amonasro, King of Ethiopia. 💚💚

OMG he is sensational! He never loses his gorgeous tone, even though the acting is very good as well, both vocally as physically!

I finished watching this Aida a couple of days ago and it was amazing! Great singing, conducting, acting. My approach to this opera and now I feel I love it!

Tucci's makeup is fine for me. Protti's, however... Seriously, the guy doing his makeup should have received a kick in the ass.
As usual, the singing is amazing.

...Protti's Amonosro make-up..?!. He's undoubtedly the most Simian-looking of all Ethiopian leaders.

Gabriella Tucci ha un timbro, un porgere i suoni , un'innata proiezione emotiva che non ha pari nel panorama dell'epoca .
Protti peccato che a volte esageri nelle emissioni, che assumono carattere troppo "verista"

THE LAST of the OPERA SINGERS WHO DEFINED THE ART OF SINGING
