I have thought about why I say: "This is the most interesting and beautiful city for me in Finland. When I first visited Finland in 1971, I was immediately struck by the factory buildings in Tampere and the water near them and the green of the trees.That would have been enough for a long-lasting impression, but the city was shown to me by the prettiest girl I knew and she loved her city and passed that on to me. I have not forgotten this city and Marja -Liisa for 50 years. She showed me this city again in 2019 after 50 years and I want to see Tampere again in 2021. Ernst from Germany
Greetings From Oregon/Washington! Vanha kunnon Tampere upeiden jarvimaisemien ymparoimana. Ennenvanhaan siella tuli kaytya melko usein joko bisneksissa tai vaan muuten visiitilla. Kotipaikalta sinne oli vain hieman yli tunnin ajo.Tampere on edelleen suosikkikaupunkini siella kotimaassa. Siita on kuitenkin jo yli 30v. kun viimeksi olin maisemissa. Kaksi siskoani perheineen asuvat viela Tampereen alueella. On todella hieno filmi lintujen nakokulmasta katsottuna hyvan musiikin kera. Tassahan helposti tulee hieman koti-ikava sita katsellessa.
My beautiful home city ❣️ I've lived several decades abroad and while I was away, Tampere has grown bigger and her face has changed, but underneath it's still the same old, wonderful Tampere that I've kept in my heart for all my life
Tampere was a wonderful host for the 2022 Global series. Met a lot of great friendly Finnish hockey fans. However, It was very gray and a bit drizzly at the beginning of November.
