    For the last 25 years the Heisman winner has usually been a draft bust. Only Cam Newton, Charles Woodson, and Carson Palmer have done well out of the past 25 winners. There's still time for Winston, Mariota, and Derrick Henry but this award doesn't really transfer into successful post-college football career.

      Just A Black Atheist newton isn't that good either when they almost went unheated I was like how he's really good and was doing good the past few season but really broke out this time then the Broncos defense figured him out and he comes back and plays the next season that way he doesn't adapt wtf this is the nfl you have to adapt cuz teams will figure u out that's why even Cowboys there really good but let's see how they do this season because teams have figured out what they did last season a and same thing won't fly they got to be better

      How in the world was Henry overrated? He beat a record set by Herschel Walker... and before you say McCaffrey had more all purpose yards than Barry Sanders, just remember Sanders set that record with only rushing yards. Half of McCaffreys yards last year were on punts and kick offs...

      Check again. ESPN, Rivals, 247, Scout all show he was not offered a scholarship by Stanford. They were initially interested, but ultimately was able to get the commitment of Davis Mills, the #1/#2 QB in the class of 2017 depending on what site you look at. So yes, I did do my homework.

    Colin loves playing the elitist (not in a bad way) card and kept trying to have McCaffrey underscore Stanford’s student athlete excellence.
    I loved how McCaffrey then goes on about his Yoga Class, his constant need for tutors to keep up (nothing wrong with that necessarily) , and Physics 240 which sounds tough but only requires 2 short papers and you’re good.

    lol people get the wrong impression about places like stanford, harvard, etc. yeah, theres smart people there, but they set you up to succeed esp if you're an athlete... football players prob have a tougher time academically at public schools like cal, ucla.

    • @peteoconnor3536
      @peteoconnor3536 7 лет назад +1

      redsharpiemarker are you kidding me? Ivy League schools don't even give athletic scholarships. No athlete who goes to an Ivy/Ivy level school gets any academic slack. Even in good schools like Texas and Miami, football players are basically given a free pass. You don't know what you're talking about.

    • @redsharpiemarker
      @redsharpiemarker 7 лет назад +1

      true, at ivys, athletes IN PARTICULAR aren't treated any better than others. which doesn't deny that they're still treated well there because everyone is, athlete or not (except at princeton which has grade deflation). the median gpa at harvard is 3.7... you get a B just for showing up to class. other good private schools with strong athletic programs DEFINITELY treat athletes better, stanford, Duke, USC, notre dame, etc included. i should definitely know what im talking about--i went to one of these schools and befriended many athletes. lol texas and miami are good? Of course they get a free pass there. let's talk about actually competitive public schools. try getting the same treatment as an athlete at a top tier UC campus with 800 student lecture halls with some of the smartest students in the country. its not the same

    • @js-hk6xs
      @js-hk6xs 7 лет назад +1

      redsharpiemarker ok but they have practices in the morning then workouts in the evenings and classes after morning and evening classes and they get home there exhausted just physically exhausted then they have to study and I doubt ivy League would just give you a B for showing up they have a reputation and just cuz your athlete doesnt mean they treat you special
