My enthusiasm is not what it used to be I've been a air Gunner now for about 10 years and I remember every day I couldn't wait to build or rebuild my Crossman but,, nowadays my Disco my Marauder my hypack looking a little Dusty so thank you for the video because the next air rifle that I purchase will be multi-shot in a Bullpup fashion and I like what I'm seeing so again thank you and cheers mate..
So very excited to get mine. I put a lot of thought into it and had a difficult time choosing between this one because it is semi-auto or the max version that is bolt action, but much more powerful. I think I made the right choice for my needs... If I love this one like I think I will, I'll begin working towards getting a bolt action model, but setting it up as my new long range air rifle. It will be one of the rifle models with a longer barrel
Great review. I love mine and look forward to aftermarket parts and acessories! Also, I want to thank you for that Shroud Boss you invented. It was the single most imporntant upgrade for my Avenger and took ANY poi shift away. When your shroud is anchored in metal instead of plastic...WOW...what a difference. Keep up the good work man.
Bob I just got my HP 25 cal semi auto carbine from bin Wednesday, I've so far done a chrony test with it but haven't been able to get out and sight it in yet. The fill probe that came with mine isn't silver like yours it's black and it worked good. I only top mine at 3200psi, after 30 shots it's at 2200psi. The barrel on mine is 14 inches and all 30 shots during the chrony test were mostly in the low 900fps range doing close to 50fpe. Mine also came with 2 magazines as well. I cast my own pellets which are just as accurate as the JSB's (the ones I used were 26 grain) I also cast airgun slugs for all my guns as well with excellent results. I haven't bought a tin of pellets in 3 years now. I'll be doing some shooting up in my attic today hopefully and I'll publish a video for the public with it. Mine will shoot up a 10 shot clip as fast as I can pull the trigger without a hitch.
when i received mine in .30 cal plus ,10" barrel all the trigger assembly retaining pins fell out of the chassis freely. also i removed the shroud to measure the barrel and it measures less than 8". what does your barrel measure without the shroud?
@@BisonWorkshop nice. i have the SS 30 in 8” coming. went small to carry in my car. i have the terminator and the safety is correct. 🤷🏻♂️ shoots really well.
Should turn the prob to a threaded foster fill and the semi auto design was a copy of the after market kit that was made for a 22xx crosman that is almost impossible to find now it was awesome wish they still sold it iv been tempted to buy one aea just to see if I can put it on a crosman. Have a great one till the next one 🎯💯👍👌✌️🥂
So…..what you’re sayin is you DONT like those fill probes. 🤓 I’m new to the PCP thing. I own a Gauntlet and an Avenger. Both have Foster fittings and for the life of me, I can’t figure out why someone adds one more little POS part to lose or have to maintain separate from the rifle. I’m looking at the .30 cal Bullpup they make, and for the price, it’ll work for me despite a few quirks I wish were different, but that damn probe just annoys me, because even thought they’ll send me one, I’ll need another, and extra O rings, because I’ll be damned if I go hunting and can’t fill my gun. I’ve been seeing these semi’s and other than the FPS, I’d like to get one. Maybe a longer shrouded barrel, no baffles, and I’ll add a suppressor to it. Don’t know what difference it would make, but if they could get those to two mags putting out at around 950, I’d jump all over that. Thank you for the video. Maybe if we all bitch about the probes they’ll switch over to Fosters. 😁
yes, thats what im saying lmao. they went from always knowing where the fill foster is to look for it, then find it dont work and have to replace the orings before you can use the pos. by the time you get your gun filled. you are so pissed you dont want to shoot. they fixed a problem that wasnt a problem in the first place.
@@BisonWorkshop Like I said, I’m new to the whole PCP thing. I’ve always had powder burners and each was set up for itself, accessories were always in the bag or case. My cleaning, repair, parts box had extras. The difference is I didn’t have to fill my rifles with air. If it went click, it was either empty, or a manufacturer defect in the primer. With these it’s a system, it’s not add a new mag of fresh rounds and continue on, and to complicate it further is just a pain in the butt.
FPE is pretty low for a .30 My Huben pumps out 80+FPE in 25. It would be interesting to see how adjustable the AEA is as far as hammer spring/valve. Maybe the transfer ports are too small. Otherwise a nice gun that with a few china quirks.
@@timmy4539 awesomesauce I'm finishing up my double today I got one tomorrow you can send it tomorrow night or early Tuesday morning Timmy Timmy Timmy pizzaboy out 😂😂👊👊🍕🍕👍👍
I agree with you Bob, fire being backwards, no good. Actually, before I realized that, shot 1 pellet and pulled mag out, throw it on safe, had misfire. Was like what the hell. Realized it was on fire and not safe. Thank God it was empty. 100% agree with fill probe bullshit. Simple solution if add quick fill fosters. Also, not sure if you disassembled grip, but it is not AR compatible. Wish that was not the case. Other than these issues, gun is freaking awesome 👌
I have the aea terminator 9mm gun works fine but it's a boat anchor low shot count I payed 1300 doller big mistake not good for hunting if you have to carry it long distance one thing o really dont like it only takes one ammo so no selection
who did you purchase your aea guns from?? the one i got, all the trigger assembly retaining pins dropped out on the floor before i got to test fire it. also did your guys offer the scope for free or was it a package? thanks martinmadi
i got my 357 challenger from a guy i cant remember what his name was but he sold it to me and forgot me and then i contacted pete at aea northeast and he fixed it for me even though i didnt get it from him. then i started buying from him. and that who i got my 30 cal challenger so i will now only deal with pete at aea northeast from now on. he is bintac pardoner. in other words. pete and bintac are the main inporter. so contact pete and he will make it right. tell him bison sent you
I have one of these. Do you know how to adjust the velocity? I wanna turn the FPS down. Do I use the screw on the right side, or the knob on the left? And which way do I turn it (since as you said, MAX is in the middle).
you use both as far as i know. if its like the challenger, you loosen the screw, then turn the knob where you want and then tighten the screw back down. i have never bothered with adjusting any of them. never found a good reason to.

Why did you send your Element back? Was it defective? Great video. I'm saving up for this exact airgun.
i dont keep every gun i get. aea sends me the gun to make parts and to do a review on and i send them back.

great review video Bob.

Has anyone ever vinyl wrapped one of these??? I wanna try with my .30 aea hp ss plus, but kinda nervous
i dont know about vinyl but i do the fishing pole grip heat shrink on my guns
@@BisonWorkshop i wanna do the entire gun, wondering how difficult it would be using a vinyl skin kit for an AR to adapt it to this.
Can u store it with the mag in??? Or will it damage the gun?
well sure
Thank you!
Thanks for the videos Bob so how was the range on that rifle?
i only tested it at 25 yards. and then it was sent back to aea.
